IIRC, BTCGuild had a 13 million + share block back in their prop days, sometime last year, when the difficulty was much lower.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

i do have issues with eu and us servers Sad

My FPGA Miner displays this:

CGMiner has problems too but i do not have a screenshot atm.

It can't connect to eu and tries to get work from us1 but this server isn't providing work fast enough.

Should be fixed now.  Not sure what happened there... I think it was related to the restart last night.  It was running fine when I last checked it, but apparently flaked out at some point and I had forgotten to turn the watchdogs back on for the servers.  They are back on now.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

It is fixed Smiley everything runs fine, but where did all the hashing power go 900 -> 500GH/s?

Yeah it's annoying. 14 hours, 6 million shares, and counting... Sad

I'm semi new, was the difficultly recently changed? It's seems like the last week or so has been misfortunate.

See here: http://bitcoin.sipa.be/

Difficulty was adjusted up at the beginning of March to the highest it has been in a while. Hashrate still seems to be increasing though, so we're likely headed into another increase soon. Still well below the peak from last summer though.

Correct.. At some point in the future, the miner password will have a function, but right now it can be anything.
