God, these Bitcoin "TA" stories on Zerohedge are just pathetically stupid considering the rise from $4k to $12k was entirely non-aggregate and artificial market manipulation.  TA does not work on artificial pump and dump scams originating from a single entity.  TA requires an aggregate market to be in any way useful.  The bottom can drop out right back to where it came from just as easily as they artificially rigged it up.

Hopefully ZOG's DARPA branch isn't looking to buy bunkers for Brexit causing world financial meltdown and a new dark ages where everyone dies.  There's not many "experiments" that require underground tunnels and bunkers. They're not building a large hadron collider or something, so the cover story is pretty fishy.

https://www.silverdoctors.com/headlines/world-news/public-duped-again-darpa-all-of-the-sudden-is-in-desperate-need-of-underground-tunnels-facilities/

As for bizarre stories in the past concerning underground bases like "dulce nightmare hall" and "aliens" which were obviously bogus, it wouldn't surprise me if they were doing illegal genetic experiments - human/animal gene splicing and stuff like that and try to cover it up with bogus stories about aliens as a ruse.  The Chinese seem to be openly doing a lot of questionable medicial experiments nowadays, and the US + Russia have both probably already done tons in the past.  But in this particular case, it feels more like some type of quick relocation economic collapse or war bunkers since it seems they actually want the locations to be near population centers.

The whole use case of "experiments" just seems like it's fake becuase like I said, you don't need an underground bunker for most experiments, and if you actually did, it would be located in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico or Arizona, not near population centers.  Other possible uses:  food/fuel/other resource storage for economic collapse, even physical metals vaulting, etc.

I’ve got some inheritance coming my way next week, my Mom’s Auntie died sasley & they had no children so she’s leaving her estate to my Mom.

‘Mommy’ is giving me & my 3 siblings some money next week so I’m going to buy another couple of BTC.

One of the first times I don’t mind the price going down Wink

Unless you plan on buying a kilo or three of molly and flipping it... buying falling knives is super sketchy in Altcurrency Land.  At least you didn't have to work hard for that money that Mommy gave you.

Bitcoin under $5000 by Christmas.  Shitcoins due for a bloodbath too in a huge way. (My guesses)

Mic - you have badly stuffed up your quotes in the post above !

I guess I'm not the only one who occasionally commits that faux pas. (since fixed)

Preview is your friend, mic. (albeit, even using it, I still failed on above example... )

OMG.... Toxic has been taken over by an alien (AKA bearshill doom and gloom pumper).  What you shooting for?  Sub $8,500 or some other "reasonable" bearish price that may or may not happen?

And here I thought my disguise was working...fml.  Actually looking at $7.25k Jay tbh...  You should know by now jjg that I just read the tea leaves..I dont make em.

My personal guess is that the honey badger is going to come along and spank all these wanna be bears once word gets out how shaky fiat systems actually are at the moment. Times be a changing my friend.

This dosent mean I wouldnt mind a nice diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppp and to scoop up some more cheap coin. *shrug*

Here have a +1 WOsMerit just because.

Carry on.

You vision comes off as so damned "reasonable" that I have difficulties hating upon you with any degree of pent up vehemence.

Nonetheless, I recall that a decent number of occasions in which you had come out with similar negative proclamations of "reasonable" quasi-certainty that were announced towards the bottoms of correction cycles, and ultimately did not come close to playing out in anywhere near your pessimistic tealeaf-reading direction....

but hey, you seem to be engaging in a fairly risky task to take actual stances through your chart putting out activities ... All in a days work, I suppose, and if you promulgate enough charts, sooner or later, with a little praying and abracadabra, you are going to be spot on and within the monies.   Wink Wink

Some rumblings up thread about best and worse bitcoin actions...had to dig around some in the necro threads to find what I was looking for...but here we go.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2548113.20

I am looking at one of my $17k graphics cards(bought for about 1BTC each back in 2014)right now...and yah..there is some regret I didnt hodl longer. Even worse..I can see the front fender of my truck sitting out in the driveway...bought that for 30BTC...not quiet a 150mio pizza...but it does sting. On the positive side..I tell all my friends that I drive a half a million dollar ride.

That is what I call my 'bad' decisions..though truth be told..I still have that truck and will never sell it. Mostly for the fact of when I roll up to my friends houses in it and park next to their eurotrash cars. Equally important is the fact that its completely mechanical. No on board tracking or even electronics to fail..

As for the video cards..well..they 'earned' their way so really no complaints there.

As for the good...whelps..heres a peek..  The 'cabin' is starting to look pretty decent.

A 10kWh grid tied solar array.

btw..that bear scat was just behind the treeline(there is a trail)... and the river runs about a 100 yards past that.

Not a terrible way to wake up in the morning I guess..

Whats my point?  None really..other than the fact that when I traded for that truck I did it at absolutely the worst time. June of '13...the price had just rallied heavily from tens of dollars to a few hundreds of dollars...and then crashed back down to 50ish..   I flat out panicked and went full chicken little. I thought I was so clever dumping before it crashed down to zero....LOL.  Traded those 30 coin at around $65 for a $2k truck...   Now there is some back story as there always is..  I had the extreme need of a truck at the time to haul a trailer over the pass a couple of times and did a fast and dirty swap thinking I would be happy if it would just last a week. Turned out the truck just had a almost complete rebuild. New engine and tranny(less than 20k miles). I have put 50k on that truck and besides tires and oil changes it has not let me down once. Purrs like a kitten..   Wink

Just shows to go you how funny life can be at times.

Do you still have coins/have bought back ?

Yesterday and today, BTC drops about ~10%. Meanwhile my company's stock, which was stuck in a narrow range for the whole year, jumps 10%, almost making up the difference !

I think it's even positive if considering the tax situation, as the company stock is completely tax free.

I would probably sell about 1BTC worth and buy a coin, if that wasn't unreasonable and not my current plan. That will wait until I got a house.

Look who the cat drug in?  There must be some hopium building up with dumbasses who sold too many BTC and too soon.

Pobrecito, sorry for your loss (NOT really).  You are not too likely to get any of those BTC back that you sold in the $5k to $6k range for less than what you sold them for, and likely you would be better off, either just buying some or all of them back here, or perhaps you might get lucky to be able to pick up some coins in the $8,500 to $9k range, perhaps, perhaps, but I would not bet the farm on being able to achieve such a buy back price, so probably better that you just eat some of your losses in order that you might be able to become less of a loser than you already seem to be and seem to want to continue to be.

If bitcoin falls to 5k that would be the first time in bitcoin's history to make a 8 month bull trap and go bearish again.

This time it is different. ™

Why so?

Institutional futures for one.

"Theymos Is Deleting Bitcoin's History - Roger Ver"    Grin Grin Grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU7343Ji8GI

Theymos Reply in Meta

What really happened was that in 2012 he posted his Bitcoinica topic twice: once mistakenly in the Russian section, and once in the proper section. Then recently a Russian user happened to stumble across the Russian duplicate for some reason, reported it as non-Russian-language, and a Russian mod archived it. The real topic with replies was never touched. You can verify all of this with archive.org if you want.

I wonder if he's actually paranoid enough to believe that I'm secretly editing this kind of ancient history for some arcane reason (while also sending out notifications about it), or if it's pure propaganda. I've always found it amusing how Roger Ver, who styles himself some "high-powered CEO", seems to get so worked up about little old me, a 4chan troll at heart who admits to having essentially zero personal ambition.

 Original thread with replies

@John don't worry bro, but i do feel bad for him because of hack.
