There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

A decade on and 'the great and the good' still have no clue:

It feels like being in the small band of people on top of the hill...  being seen, but misunderstood by those below who just can't see the flood waters gathering behind them.

Anybody got a feeling we could dip below $8,000?

If we do hopefully it’s a bear trap & we bounce up hard.

People seriously leave their BTC long term on a random centralized website where they don’t control the private keys just to get a reported 4% interest?

You can get over 100% profits quite regularly just by HODLING.

Fuck that!

Not your keys, not your BTC!

This! People are so accustomed trading on exchanges that they rarely think about the lack of control and security breaches that could occur.

University of Minnesota student jailed in China over tweets

Quote
A University of Minnesota student has been arrested in China and sentenced to six months in prison for tweets he posted while in the United States, according to a Chinese court document viewed by Axios. Some of the tweets contained images deemed to be unflattering portrayals of a "national leader."

Witnessing those slow but continued declines, I think we are heading in this direction. It can either up or down  Roll Eyes

LoL, Peter schiff latest tweet admitting he was making a mistake with his pin episode etc.....

The lie became to big I suppose....

https://twitter.com/peterschiff/status/1220135541330542592?s=21

obviously. confused passwd and pin. dude's growing old.
Somebody should teach him how to write down important things like pins, pwd and lists of 12 words securely.
I am sure he could handle that. And the ol' blockchain online wallet problem aka. "not your keys, not your coins"  Roll Eyes

Indeed, but probably its all just a lie that didn't work out like how he wanted...

...

That was my second thought, because he initially wrote "corrupted wallet", "lost all of my bitcoin" which smells like bad publicity  or "fake facts", terms that should cause maximum rumor and drama.
It's easy to start a shitstorm, and if he clears up his "mistake" afterwards these "fake fact" narratives still remain in the heads of most readers.
What an assh*le  Angry

Waiting patiently to buy this dip, had a big tax bill so sadly I have to raid my fiat savings to pay some of it.
Going to cheer myself up about the savings hit by buying another whole bitcoin but want to help pay it.

Unsure if we will go sub 8k!

Going to give it 24 hours before I pull the trigger.
