No shares. Expected time may be 1.6 hours then again 1 day.
Is it normal? Will I get any shares with p2pool?

As you see: Expected time to share: 21.4 hours
Variance make this number 5x bigger or smaller, depend on your luck. Wait a bit longer Smiley

348kh/s is miniscule.

M

for LTC it's respectable, equivalent to ~500MH/s on BTC's network.

Good point.  I missed it was LTC.  When it said 21.4 hours to share, I assumed the worst.

M

I mine at Kano's Pool because it pays the best and is completely transparent!  Come join me!

I just wanted to give a shout out too and let the p2pool community know about NastyFans.org.

A significant portion of the hashrate for p2pool comes from OgNasty's mining operation. They mines BTC/LTC/NMC/FTC/IXC/DVC. He really believes in decentralization of bitcoin and has been supporting p2pool both with hashrate and donations to development.

There are a group of supporters called the NastyFans, and info is available here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86854.0
and here:
https://www.nastyfans.org/about

The fan club receives donations back from the mining operation at rate of ~4.8% per year. Shares are exchangeable at auction as well, so you probably should think of it more as a dividend producing stock than a share in a miner. Market cap is close to $1 million.

Of course, do your due diligence, but this seems to be an ethical and good supporter of bitcoin - I just wanted to spread the word and let people know where our hashrate is coming form (in case you weren't aware)

I'm not that into mining, but does P2P charge a fee?

As stated above, P2Pool does not charge a mandatory fee.  That being said, we are donating 0.9% of both BTC & LTC earnings toward the future development of P2Pool.  I see this as us doing good.  I do believe we would be slightly more profitable mining with one of the large pools and withholding donations, but I personally would rather do what is best to support the community and Bitcoin decentralization/development in general.

If you have enough, you might be able to push us over the edge Wink

Edit: 3% remaining if it is based on the hourly average

the changes will take effect 12 hours after 95% of the mining power has been upgraded, as usual.

I guess it will be a little while yet.

only 2 (~165GH) but i'm sure there are many other ASIC owners that would point there maschines to p2pool if it's working. The only reason for many ASIC owners is that p2pool was not working form them.

Hopfully p2pool will work and the hashrate will go to up some TH/s  Grin

More hashrate would be fantastic.  My little AM USB farm shouldn't be in the top 10 Tongue

yes, because the switch over is not done yet. I will point my ASICs to p2pool when switch over is done and it's working with the new 30sec interval.

If you had larger ASICs, you could probably make the difference.
