"Due to regulatory concerns beyond our control we cannot accept deposits from the State of New York."

Just a little FYI: Seems Bitmain/Hashnest is now blocking ALL USA from making any kind of deposits to your btc/ltc wallets in accordance with the New York Bit license.. Ya they just band all  North America..

Can any one else please confirm that?

So can we pay with USD instead?

I just paid for my order by bank wire transfer, hope it went thru good. Probably won't know for sure for a few days though.

Price is based on the price of LTC i think, 40 x LTC = price.

Just paid for my miners and had no problem sending LTC.

shouldnt the prices go down as the same machine comes out with increased difficulty?

Yes logically yes, however price of LTC is staying ahead of difficulty and also people are using there L3+ to mine altcoins as oppose to LTC only because altcoins are around 20-25% more profitable so the ROI is faster.

what other coins are people mining ? mine arrives anytime now and i am interested to see what others are mining? Smiley

You can mine any scrypt coin

These are same examples of scypt coins you can mine: Belacoin, Einsteinium, Digibyte, Dogecoin

Oh man, my L3+ is just half a month away and I'm hyped! I was contemplating actually selling it right away when I get it from double but it's not worth it when I can make ROI and 1.5 months. And personally I feel LTC is only gonna go up so whatever it mines it's only gonna go up in value.

Today I looked at my 4 L3's I got April 6th and my 4 L3+'s I got May 8th? ...both of these are in hand..at those dates..if I remember right...

The L3's ROI'd in 2 months (June) The L3+'s by about 100 bucks in LTC on or around July 4th...

Both will ROI with all electric/hosting/psu/etc FOR THE YEAR...so no other costs (located at colohub)  ..I double checked with coin output for each miner

on the www.litecoinpool.org miner page, (actual LTC mined per miner)  and also the www.litecoinpool.org/calc page also verifies this

WOW! 2 month ROI..who'd  thunk it?

On the other hand...find myself needing asic equip to keep IRS at bay...they want my money..and not sure L3+'s (if they resume...don't resume...take

your time..paint the warehouses....send everyone on a nice August vacation...I have my miners...its all about me damn it ) Smiley oops I digress

but anyway not big, at the present time and suspected price,  on bitmain machines that I order now (if I could) arriving sometime in the middle of October with what we expect in scrypt pow and LTC difficulty pump as the 'shocking new reality' then

anyway feast or famine asic machine wise it seems

for the newbies out there....THIS NEVER EVER HAPPENS so don't think we will be LIKELY to get a repeat (though at 75 to 100 buck LTC hmmmmmmmmmmm) get equip
in a prudent manner....just before I ordered I posted on bitcointalk 6 buck floor for LTC (from 4.15) and was doing it for the 25% equip depreciation off my taxes on
mining this year to IRS and a 12-15 month ROI ....sometimes being dumb and lucky is the only way to go...I surely was not smart enough to count on LTC pumping.

anyway....so far the surfing is great till the wave I'm on hits the difficulty beach here in July.....damn that is gonna hurt!!!

on the other hand...perhaps..just perhaps...I shoulda saved the like Paid Out   12490.662295630000 LTC from www.litecoinpool.org it shows me from accounts that at todays LTC rate of $37.70 is $470,897.97 usd...ouch.......ouch....ouch......this is all the hash I've made accumulating LTC since Nov 8th 2014 with my first knc Titan.

Newbies expect further weird times in cryptoland Smiley All sorts of missed 'boats' await you!

Your posts about Bitmain scared me off initially and looks like you ended up buying some yourself.  I only ended up with one Hashnest miner at $1,800USD as I was nervous after reading your posts.  I was planning on getting 5.

Reading your post here again I am almost nervous about buying the September machines, but I think I will just make the jump and do it.

Do you think that if the L3+ is in a custom made wooden crate with soundproofing and tubes for the air, and it sucks cold air from behind, that the cold is enough to keep good temp inside the machine + circuits , cards etc...?

Or i need to put extra fans on the inside too to keep the machine contraction cool too...

No news about 15th July batch right? It's shipping as normal?
Damn my friend should have listened to me and buy more miners. They were afraid and I went ahead and bought just one myself to get me started. I'll keep the ltc to buy more next generation of scrypt antminers Wink

So I put "50" in the box for customize fan speed, and the unit won't start up.  If I remove it, it starts back up no problem.  I just want to quiet the thing down a bit, any ideas?
Is the L3+ fan as noisy as the s9 or T9? Would it be suitable for home mining?

The fan isn't that loud, its some kind of tunnel noise that the airflow makes going through the machine, not totally sure how to get it quieter though.

Has anyone else been able to reduce the fan noise anyway?

Anyone had success in reducing the noise level for the L3+s ?

You Old Miners, what kind of Router / Hub / Switch (POE) or (Not Poe) are you using for your own rig, and any Surge Protector?, can you guide us please,  Wink  Thanks

I found this one, Cisco SG110-16 , unmanaged, not poe and 100-240V AC

make a crate made of MDF, soundproof the inner parts of the crate, make 2 5inch holes for the air ducts to breath in = out on both sides and your dB level will drop from 79dB to around 55dB.
There are videos on youtube too.
thanks

madmex, there was a batch of ap3++ that could get 2 l3+ powered on them... I got one of those, but it is better to not use the max power of the psu for 2 units. Better use 1 1600W PSU for 1 800W L3+ , it is much healthier, given the fact that the machine will run 30 days a month non-stop.

I have 1 of those that can get 2 machines powered at 220v , but i run it though 1 machine. But it is good to know that worst case, if i buy another machine i could plug it in until the new psu arrives

I use cheapest hub, working without any problem with 15 meters lan wire. More important is this thing: https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Display-Protection-SMART1500LCDT/dp/B009TZTGWK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1499421980&sr=8-3&keywords=ups+3000va

Is this even worth it if its 2 months behind?

a month ago the L3+ was producing 1.35 LTC a day, now its down to 0.8 LTC a day... in two months, it'll only do 0.2?

I'm thinking about ordering but it seems the price went from $1300 to $2300 ....

It is my concern too ! My order for 5 pcs L3+ should arrive in october ! 2017

Where can I see the producing LTC a day ?! or how much can i expect to earn in october when "everybody" will receive the antminer L3+  Huh Embarrassed  Huh

I would drop in a 30amp circuit and then yes you can run all 4 on one circuit with a little room for expansion.  I always go overboard, but just dont load the circuit over 80% load and you should be fine.

30 amper? its huge value for 220v, need minimum 4mm2 wire.

How can I tell what the L3+ does with other Scrypt coins?

For example, what is the hashrate on XVG (Verge)?

It depends mostly on pool and not on coin itself.
