Does steamboat allow transfer / selling of chips?

He wont change the address, you would have to handle it after the assembly or chip arrivals have begun. He cant stop you from selling your stuff.

Right, of course, i'm sort of just suprised people want to buy chips if they have to be sent after the fact and it would seem to exclude steamboat's assembly from being possible with them

unless they mean buy the assembled units.

I imagine dude is stressing pretty hard at the Avalon chip shipments being late, and there being absolutely nothing he can do about it.

Here's tossing some Xanax Steamboat's way to chill him out until we hear something from the Avalon folk.

It's a horrible waiting game for all of us; especially for those like Steamboat and Burnside who have their fine reputations being stressed by Avalon's silence and delays.

Nothing we can do except wait, unfortunately  Undecided

It's not time to start panicking yet. Chill, methinks.

If someone was to sell theirs, I would recommend working with someone you trust and doing it with complete units rather than sending chips so you dont lose your place in line for assembly with parts being short.

Agreed - steamboat's concern over delivery times likely dwarfs any of our own by a factor of 10.
He wisely avoids posting speculative updates.  I'm confident he is doing everything in his power to expedite this process.

1- read the first post.
2 - you now know how to order a couple of fully assembled units.

I was a bit confused at first too.  Chips for your miner and assembly of your miner are 2 separate transactions.  Read the first post and look for directions on how to order chips.  Order your chips.  After the next batch of chips is ordered from Avalon you will get instructions to order / pay for your assembly.

1.  Order 16 chips for every miner you want.
2.  Goto the LSD website and pay for full assembly + testing for each miner.
3.  Wait a long time.

Right.. So how come our emails were answered within hours when taking orders. And now it takes ages for updates.. I think he should update at least once a week on this page, and the same with emails. But that's maybe just me. With 6.5 groupbuys he must have thousand, at least hundreds of clients interested in a status update at this point in time. (even if the status update is; there is no status update.) You can be as busy as you like. A Post update still takes less than 60 seconds.
