449 * 3,249,550 = 1,459,047,950 Projected difficulty on Jan 8, 2014 if current growth had been sustained from the beginning to the end of the year.

Here are some ROI calculations:
assume your electricity costs $0.15 per kWh and assuming a single miner uses 50 watts per hour to run.
assume a very steep .1 profitability decline per year e.g. difficulty increased to 10x the original difficulty after 1 year.

At difficulty 37.4 million:
over 12 months of running you would earn 692.67$. It will take about 1.64 months to pay for your miner, the rest is income.

At difficulty 100.4 million:
over 12 months of running you would earn 18.91$. It will take about 7.5 months to pay for your miner, the rest is income.

My data looks much different than yours.  I also prefer to express return in BTC rather than $.  Data assumes 20% increase in difficulty.  Gain is calculated for each window of difficulty then added to the next window until difficulty reaches a point of BTC and electricity canceling each other out per period (Around 2,000,000,000 Difficulty).  This is for one K16 miner (elec included).  I'm already past ROI.

This is what I posted on 8 August, since we are now going around in circles. No ROI, IMO.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I'm still seeing ROI in 2 1/2 months with 128 chips in group buy 1 & 2, calculated a 20million difficulty increase per month rather than percentage since it will inaccurately fluctuate:
http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/b8349117c8

Initial investment Approximately:$2552
Profit over ROI is approximately: $3,800
In estimates you guys need to stay away from percentages and instead calculate a little above average Millions per month changes in difficulty.

What sucks is that **nothing** is happening. We're all just losing our money in slow motion.

Yes... this is what I was implying... I just couldn't find the energy to continue typing after 'this sucks'. Just depressing to see such poor form & communication by all parties involved.

Good idea. I'm doing this as well. We all should take a minute or two to do so.

I added one as well. More than 2 weeks late without a good excuse or communication regarding time frame would make me give any trader a negative, why should Yifu be any different?

OK. BitSynCom claimed to be shipping 4-5 batches a day about one week ago. Since then it''s been verified that TWO shipments have been made. Not 20, not 25. Not even four. TWO!

I'm sick to death of this waiting and doing nothing. We are being cheated and lied to. Plain and simple.

We need to do SOMETHING. Anything! As long as it isn't wait.

I personally advocate setting a specific date (in the VERY near future) by which time BitSynCom provides FULL disclosure of the whereabouts and status of ALL SHIPPED CHIPS, and a detailed shipping schedule of each proposed future shipment.

Barring their presumed noncompliance with those demands, we should be prepared to file a civil suit, and most importantly, CRIMINAL charges against BitSynCom and it's principals.

At any rate, a Steamboat update IS LONG PAST DUE! (Yes, I DO require constant hand-holding by the group buy head if the current plan is still indefinite waiting.) I know posting here is a horrible bother, but since Steamboat stands to make money from this no matter WHEN the chips arrive, the least he can do is "waste" some of his valuable time updating us. Even if it's just to say the obvious: "Guess what, guys - you're screwed!"

I know this post is quite negative in tone, and is certain to step on toes. But I'm done! We're already screwed, how will it hurt to start raising legal hell?

There seems to be some more proof of another shipment today here: https://bitmine.ch/?p=819

Does anyone know when this group made their chip order? I could not seem to find it on their site, and it was not in the tracker: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiLYkKIHJaIsdHpIaGdUOWRYVUdncTNpNlVKbVhCbEE#gid=0

sadly i think in three months time, monthly difficulty increase will be 40MM+.. it cant stay on 20, it was 15 the last 11 day update!
this month from 37 to 65!
20MM per month is sadly not a viable guess, 30-40 could be better.

So there are either inaccuracies in that article (quite likely), or they are shipping chip orders "out of order".

From the article:
"This chip delivery corresponds to their first batch, with the order was placed on May 27th."

I STILL think it's past time for a Steamboat update. Just saying...
