By now Steamboat should invite us to Co-Op with shares based on how many miners, and he run our miners in his hosting facility (those who want to particip) and he use the earnings to reinvest for more miners until we're breaking even, then start giving dividends. because if we lose another few days in the mail after the miners are ready to ship, the last tiny bit of btc that can be made will be gone too...

Probably once the army of K16s have raised enough capital to repay us.

Oh well... 15 BTC were sent between chips and assembly/shipping cost
If I was to sell the miner today, I'd be lucky to get 2 BTC for the lot assembled and ready to mine.

My only hopes when I get the miners it that they're heavy, like REALLY heavy. I might get more for selling them scrap metal  in a month time that what it would be to sell them as miners

Thank you RS...

The lack of any communication here is just plain unacceptable. I'm ready to call scam.

Thanks to those who have emailed me. I've been busy, but I'm ready to take action now. Quite honestly, the amount I'll be losing on assembly and shipping is pretty small. I'm so sick of this whole damn mess that I'm tempted to just walk away. At this point, I'd have even  probably just accepted it if he'd updated with "I'm broke, no assembly refunds".

But frankly, the fact that Steamboat can't write us a simple update after ALL THIS TIME has pushed me over the edge. There is no excuse for it. The lack of any recent update by Steamboat is IMO an implicit communication that he has no concern for us as customers.

He's ignored repeated pleas for those awaiting miners to ship them as-is. Those miners are the property the people that ordered them, and should be released to them upon request, finished or not.

These issues, along with his refusal to discuss assembly/shipping refund details leads me to the conclusion that Steamboat no longer has our best interest at heart. As such, I shall begin legal proceedings. It will be more burden than it's worth given the money at stake for me personally. But I'm really tired of Bitcoin hardware buyers taking it in the shorts!

I'm really quite disappointed that persistent refusal to provide even the most basic customer support is rampant in this industry.

Steamboat, refund our money!!! Your behavior is just out of line! Your info will be published and be scam accused.
Have some respect and intregrity!
My advice is to contact bitpay and at least inform them of his behavior. Any future endavour would be hard! this need to be handled - NOW!
Don't wait, act now!

Wait for the updated f/w the group of devs were up all night working on it. I think they solved it around 3 a.m. let them sleep then we can see what they come up with now that they have a functioning source.

looks like we might get our custom ASIC paperweights before Christmas after all!

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.

I seriously doubt you will be using them as paperweights if btc keeps going up Tongue

How quickly will finished units be produced?
Fully assembled miners are expected to ship within 72 hours of delivery from Avalon.

sigh. Will testing delay the boards further or have they been tested already and are only waiting for firmware?

Gee. I dunno. That would require Steamboat to grace us with his presence and provide an update.

Ok now that we'll finally be getting these, what is everyone using to power these and switch on the power?  Is everyone using the paperclip method with an atx power supply or has anyone made a switch?  Also the only thing I need yet is a decent USB hub.  Any cheap 8-10 ports that you all recommend?

It would be a downright miracle if these shipped this week. Incomplete hosting facilities mean that miners that are completed still cannot be shipped because of FIFO. Also, testing. Steamboat, if you are reading this, I kindly decline testing if it means the miners are shipped sooner.

I wouldn't spend much money on anything... I'm just using molex to pci-e adapters on a PSU that runs my litecoin miners, then using an extra eeepc to run cgminer/ssh. It has 3 usb ports, so non hub required for my 3 miners.
