Yep I got one unconfirmed

I'm Cloud Mining Why? When I first Started Mining it cost me a fortune in Electricity and over £100 per GH/s.
Now I can buy 10 GH/s for less than 2 dollars and sleep without earplugs. See my progress / screenshots here

Real Free Bitcoins from what I have seriously found to be the best site around. I share 50% of my commission to my referrals.

This shit only happens when BTC prices rise to very highs. Seems every pool is having "issues" when bitcoin  prices goes this high. A little odd to me.

It's like a big casino, just raking in the money off the top. If you own the Casino that's what you would do....don't think it doesn't happen.

Is pay evenly split in the pool or based on participation which I think is what, that PPLNS thing or w/e it's called.

My "confirmed reward" has gone negative.... Slush, do I owe you any bitcoins?
Confirmed reward: -0.01298504 BTC Your confirmed balance from valid blocks

Edit:  later the following message appeared on my account: "Notice: The last payment to you was sent twice by a mistake. This has caused that your confirmed reward is temporarily below 0 BTC. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

Not sure how to audit the payments (the payout history uses rounded values and UTC, but I guess that with some effort that should be possible)

It's a proprietary scoring system, similar enough to pplns.

The mystery was partially solved, as my account page now contains this message:
Notice: The last payment to you was sent twice by a mistake. This has caused that your confirmed reward is temporarily below 0 BTC. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Strange, but I hope that it is correct.

Well, that was the longest, f***ing block ever for Slush.  Wish I had a few hundred TH/s to throw at it...  Cry

We've had two or more 10+ hour blocks just in the last couple of days.  Plus a 13+ hour long block in the past week I believe.  8 hours is nothing.  heh..

I found 2 identical payments, and tracing back the block confirmation to payments over the last few days, Slush's claim looks correct.  Still strange that it could happen (aren't these calculations supposed to happen automatically and not 'handrolically'?!!!).
So Slush is honest... but more order is needed....

Cheers

I don't have 2 identical payments. with these long blocks it would be quite noticeable with only 1 payment per day.
so I dont see why slush is taking btc back

You might contact Slush support at support@bitcoin.cz (per the FAQ).
Tracing the actual confirmed blocks to payments is tricky.

On the Slush web site https://mining.bitcoin.cz/accounts/profile/ it says
" Quick updates

    08.11.2013
Some recent payouts didn't go thru bitcoin network because of unsatisfied transaction fees. We're finding a soluton and all payouts will be processed soon"

Hopefully they will fix this soon, or try to contact Slush support email or the Live Support.
In my case the double payments were not consecutive. looking at my wallet transactions, stats (I copy and keep my Slush stats) and the payout history I managed to figure it out more or less...

Newcomers to slush pool: slush's pool IS the shit.  Slush's pool is a small operation.  Sometimes weird stuff happens for a while, most likely because the genius is updating his site.  It ALWAYS corrects itself (at least 99% of the time).  Just trust the slush.

Do you even mine?

The account message changed
from: "Notice: The last payment to you was sent twice by a mistake. This has caused that your confirmed reward is temporarily below 0 BTC. We're sorry for the inconvenience."
to: "Notice: Some payments from 2013-11-08 were sent twice by a mistake. This has caused that your confirmed reward is temporarily below 0 BTC. We're sorry for the inconvenience."

The transaction from 11/7 confirmed at last. The double payment showed up about an hour ago.

The account message was incorrect and then premature in regard to my account.

Looks like things are making sense now but in any case it is a little bothersome.
