I see, very interesting. This is also why it's important for us (Slush) to keep adding hashrate, yes?
Err luck and hashrate are not related by any means.
You may be lucky to find a block while CPU mining now, or never find a block even with an ASIC

0 for these...

It looks like your hash rate is really low based on the number of your shares and the length of time on those blocks.  You should probably switch to another pool that uses a pay per share method of compensation.  To fight against pool hoppers slush uses a scoring method that gives more points the newer the share is.  You can work out the math, but my general understanding is that any share older than ten minutes after the pool solves a block is pretty much worthless.  As an example...if you had 300000 shares in the first thirty minutes of a block and then turned your miners off, if the block got solved an hour later your reward would be 0.

Chad

Some of us have experienced the issue of not being paid (or, losing pay) for shares which met the score criteria. At least for me, that was my concern. I have been slush-loyal for months, and suddenly my confirmed payout started dropping, along with unconfirmed payout, and for a couple of days with just 60gh/+ pointed at slush, I wasn't getting anything--despite new blocks being found.

Something is up. Could be something innocent/simple, as recently changes have been made to his end.

I switched most of my power to another pool and haven't had an issue. Not knocking slush, but something just seems off.

He recently went to vardiff I believe, so the pool adjusts it dynamically for you. There used to be a difficulty box you could edit on the worker screen.

slush, this is propagation on your latest block:

Type   Block
First Seen   2013-11-05 13:44:16
Last Seen   2013-11-05 13:33:40   )<---- no clue about this.  i suspect it's supposed to be 13:44:40, lol

...  the 129.132.230's grabbed it first, delaying propagation.  You should block them

oh, and now:

Summary
Type   Block

Blockchain.info seems to be stuck at 268115 at the moment.  The network is quite a ways ahead of that now.

Solo mine with them. Seriously. Once the returns are worthless in a pool with them (pretty much this week), solo. It's not just speed, it's luck.

Also if you want to dump them for cheap let me know.

OK might have been exaggerating a bit... :-P I've made 4.5 BTC so far. but had major computer/network malfunctions in early october which caused my BFL Single to be offline for about a week. If I hadn't that problem..probably would've been a bit more btc there..
The thing still gets me some BTC so I shouldn't call it worthless just yet, I guess.. but it still pisses me off that I waited soooo long for it to arrive! Angry

But last ~2 weeks the reward have dropped dramatically for me.. I guess I had way too high expectations about it. (and about the difficulty)

So, basically; No I won't sell it yet Grin Cool

I don't believe it has become completely useless by this increase. It just won't pay for itself maybe.
[edit] If it has really become completely useless for you, maybe I could find some use for it... :-))) [/edit]

BTW, the increase has been "only" :-) 30.7 % this time.
