I'm mining at around 900MH/s with my two 6970's and my mobile 5830. I shouldn't be slow at all. But your explanation makes sense. Just missed my shares of it Wink

1459 is the total number of shares submitted by everyone. Did you really think you calculated that many shares in 9 seconds? Your reward was none because you didn't get a chance to submit a completed share in such a short period.

BTW, Slush's response was to Kyubi but the explanation is good Smiley

Slush, is there a problem with the pool right now?

Yes, pool was DoSed (actually not DDoSed). It is already solved. I have theory that mtgox price drop and attack to two pools (my pool and currently deepbit) were orchestrated by single entity Smiley.

Yeah, my statement about mtgox was always clear - dark pools must be closed and enable maximum amount of 50BTC that can be sold per day from unique address.
Too many BTCs from soloing are sold there for little money and their buyer will offer them at high prices to the normal market. He just only need lower current price to sold more against to sold less or nothing at higher price.

I hate such long rounds, but no, this is not affected by attack.

Unfortunately invalid one. Actually two servers found solution for the same block almost at same time (heh, after 3 hours of trying), but only one can count. 1 sec is too short to synchronize over bitcoin p2p...

I have no reason to think that this 3hour round was caused by some p2p network attack (except that pool hashrate was lower for some time because of that DoS).

Also keep in mind that 'other' are just estimation. There is no way to measure 'other' hashrate exactly.

Lets hope the 1 second one is invalid then. Would suck to crunch for 3 hours and then have it divided between 52 shares in the end (of which I had none of course Smiley).
