Yes, few longer rounds in a row, it always look strange. But pool luck is above average, so don't worry Smiley.

Nice graph. Yup, no worries, I did like few days a go, there were a lot of 1 min to like 1 hr rounds with great rewards, .025-.021 for me Smiley. Seems even though difficulty dropped, I am getting less rewards but people that left, those spots filled up again somewhat fast or in some sort.

So that's two blocks to me!!! Well chuffed, that's a good start for a Monday.

So a hip hip hurrah for Slush's pool (ok, I'm a bit light-headed from getting another block, hahaha)  Grin

Thanks for your support, catfish! Mining two blocks so fast as one miner is realy lucky. For example, one of my card didn't find a block since January and then found some blocks in a row with current difficulty. It was really weird :-).

About namecoin - I'm following their project and it would be great to support them with merged mining. It can earn few bucks for pool users on top of their actual income, so let's see what happen.

Hey, this pool rocks. I started mining here about a week ago and am earning more coin than I have with any other pool I've tried. We may have our share of bad luck, but at least this seems to be matched by our share of good luck. You would think that this is the case for every pool out there, but unfortunately this hasn't really been my experience.

Always getting ~85% Rejected

can't believe I haven't been able to mine slush for 2 month using phatk and no explanation anywhere (except this)

"

slush's pool is incorrectly marking shares as rejects because slush refuses to implement ntime rolling. This is a bug with his pool, not the miner

@slush

Once again: with the lastes cgminer or phoenix I have tons of rejects. With poclbm not. I get the rejects only with your pool. Deepbit, Arsbit, Eligius, Guild, mtred... all are working. It's NOT a network issue. I guess your pool is in some way not compatible with some optimization of the more recent miner-software.

What is the cause of the reject???

Seems like a lot of people simply stopped mining at slush for this reason.   Is there an update to this old problem ?

Always getting ~85% Rejected

Hello, there's no reason to have 85% rejected, of course it isn't normal and there must be something specific in your config. Please send me your miner settings to email together with your pool login.

For example yesterday one guy contacted me because he had very high rejected ratio. Then we found that he was using wrong domain on his side for some miners (api1.bitcoin.cz instead api.bitcoin.cz or api2. bitcoin.cz). So there might be some stupid mistake, too.

Yes, I checked pool status, but everything looks good and it's just unlucky round. Still not the worst round of pool history, but we aren't on the end yet Wink.

10 hours, 1 minute and 17 seconds.
That was A block!

Reason is very simple.
So far LP not implemented & many left the pool.
The total hashing power of pool reduced to ~1500 GH/s. While deepbit still has 5000+ GH/s

Despite this last 10 our block, on a normal bases of a good round block of 2 min to 1 hour, I make a shit load more at slush's versus deepbit.

For Slush's, I made 0:34:49    696301    0.02788551

If that was deepbit, same duration time, I would have pulled in something like 0.00325225

Don't know why it is like that, but I won't leave slush's.

Me myself am waiting for the RollNtime  update, i have an unstable internet, and if my miners get some troubles to connect to the pool, they won't get idle and keep mining.

Hello,

today I upgraded pool backends, maybe you noticed few extra "rejected" shares because of restarts. Now everything runs smoothly again.

Thanks to this update, you can now connect as many miners to one "worker account" as you wish; I finally reworked pool core so this stupid rule isn't needed anymore.
