Thanks to troubles with database, I stopped calculating rewards. Everything will be fine soon, as I enable scripts again.

For the relatively few issues your pool has had, thank you for your quick responses and replies to issues.

Block 7589 tells me I got nothing though I was mining for the whole of the time. Sorry Slush for being a nag.

I'm still repairing database from problems, which cause longer processing of blocks, almost-not-working website etc, but mining really works without problem.

The reason is that one database table which is not needed in mining got insanely fragmented. So queries take ages to process (profile page, stats page, calculating rewards), but mining core is OK. I'm repairing table right now, but it will take some (I expect that it finish in 24 hours). Please excuse crappy website performance in meantime, I'm working on it.

Iam interested in how many data rows are in your table. Are you using MySql?
Why don't you simply export data, then drop and recreate the table and reimport the data? This won't take longer than an hour even if your table is a gigabyte in size.

I stopped website and put there an info message instead, because it improves a speed of repair a lot. I hope site will be back in few hours.

Great! Database is succesfully repaired, website is running again and it looks pretty stable. If you still see some error pages on website, please let me know. Also JSON API is back up.

Database is repaired, mining works and website is responsive, however there are still few things to do. But I need to take short rest right now; after almost 20 hour session of debugging and database recovering I feel that I might do some stupid mistake. So processing of rewards and payouts is currently still disabled. I prefer to calculate them manually and watch if everything is really really OK. I'll inform you about next progress in next hours.

Thank you all for your support and for mining without any GUI & stats during last few hours.

Thanks Slush,
One request, when you do the re-calc, please start at least on 142674. Even though it has a reward listed, it looks 40-50% low for me.

heliosxx, block #7591 was probably fine, but I recalculated it right now using share-based formula (instead of standard score-based) to be sure there wasn't a problem with score renormalization in database. If your reward is still significantly lower than usual, then there were some network issues between your miners and pool.

Well, I cannot sleep, so I processed all stuff manually; everything was OK as I expected. All blocks are calculated and payments sent. As a bonus, I implemented full decimal payout :-).

I'll finally setup automatic processing of blocks and payments after short sleep.

I still don't see any rewards for block 7580 and block 7592 is well lower than I would expect. In fact my overall rewards for yesterday are down.  Embarrassed

thehairymob - Round #7580 took less than two minutes. It is quite possible that your miners didn't submit any share in this time, so it may be OK. Round #7580 was calculated using share-based formula, so if your reward is much lower, then there was some problem in mining. I know that thanks to database maintenance there was higher stale ratio for short time, so maybe you were affected.

Overall yesterday pool reward was lower than 7 days average, so it is normal that your reward was also lower. That's pretty normal, there is big variance in mining operation.

Sorry Slush typo that should hae read 7589 which ran for 1hour 39 minutes and also 7592 ran for just under 40 minutes but I recieved much lower than normal for a block. I know you have had problems with your database yesterday that cause all sort of issues and I'm sorry to be causing you more. I also have issues with my set up which will me a complete install today. A lightning storm caused some glitches a few weeks ago but only this weekend have I found the time to wipe my drive and start again. Computers eh, a bit like a good woman in that they will drive you mad then some, hehehe.  Cheesy

Did you mean to reset the payout history graph? It looks like it only shows for a month now?

Damn databases, always causing problems. Wink

Good job on the unplanned maintenance Slush, all looks fine on my end, barring the lower than average total. A few 5+ hour long blocks will do that, sadly.

Love that you got full decimal payout implemented too. Smiley

I was just looking on my account page and the numbers looks weird.
(moved my miners elsewhere when stuff started to go down, hence the low numbers)

Whats up with the 0 score shares...

Login  Pass   Block   Share     Score        Last share at
XXX.Y0    Z    0    1    0.0000       2011-08-27 19:03:11
XXX.Y1    Z    0    1    0.5238       2011-08-27 19:56:47
XXX.Y2    Z    0    0    0               2011-08-27 14:10:07
XXX.Y6    Z    0    2    0.0000       2011-08-27 18:51:51
XXX.Y8    Z    0    1    2582.8964            2011-08-27 20:39:20
XXX.Y9    Z    0    11    2.2343       2011-08-27 20:00:05

EDIT: I guess you just did some recalculations since the 2.5k share is gone but the 0.0000 is still there
