I can not figure out why I can't  access http://mining.bitcoin.cz/ web page from my laptop but it works OK from my PC (same network)
I can access http://www.bitcoin.cz/ from both computers (and all the other web pages out there too).

Any ideas?

I have 3 workers, each one running in a 5850 with phoenix/phatk and all pointing to api2.

I have just seen that two of them have the same amount of submitted shares after 48 hours (last reboot), but one of them have 3 times less than the other two in the same time. May be a problem connecting to the pool ?

BTW, what is an approximate "right" value for stale/invalid shares ? I'm having about 1.5%

Do you see any error messages in the 'bad' miner? Idling messages or higher stale ratio? If it is just lower miner performance, it might be some hardware issue. But hard to say without more info...

1.5% is in expected range.

Bad miners simply do not connect at all. Ever. Miner before that would get ZERO connection until i switched from api2 to api.. Pinging them works great though.

What miner are you using? There were such troubles with phoenix older than 1.50...

I don't have enough info, but - of course - it does not sounds healthy Smiley. What miner parameters are you using? Something might be wrong here...

Using diablo linux, with -f 10 -v 2 -w 128
got two 6950 cards, with a combined hashrate of 666 Mh/s
had to switch to a different pool after mining for several minutes on your pool with a ratio of 82 accepts / 74 rejects

Oh well... Diablo isn't working properly for some technical reasons; Diablo changed some stuff in his miner few weeks ago and refused to "fix" it to be backward compatible. Please use another miner (I recommend phoenix or poclbm).

I'm using poclbm and I'm getting ridiculously high reject ratio as well. Is there a limit to how much work can be turned in per worker?

I'm showing at least 60% or so of my work that is being turned in rejected by the server. It wasn't this bad when I mined at slush while back, but I then I had it with separated to each gpu per worker for monitoring at the time. Now that I'm back and trying to setup slush again, it's giving me massive rejections because I am trying to turn in work to a single worker instead.

I'm new to SLUSH. How do I withdraw immediate? Before I continue to mine at SLUSH, I need to know if
1) If I can withdraw immediate
2) if I can withdraw all 8 decimal places of btc.

I have set it at 1.0 btc for auto payout; but now I just set it at 0.01 btc. I have more confirmed btc than the 0.01 threshold but the payout was not initiated. HELP!

Hmm... something is wrong with your pool.

Using cgminer or even the latest phoenix, which i turn you do recommend,  gives a very high reject ratio. Here a sample of phoenix:

Your pool works well only with poclbm but with poclbm I have over 20Mhases/sec less. I don't know what is wrong with your pool, but it occurs only mining with your pool. Btcguild, deepbit, arsbitcoin, eligius and other smaller pools, all are working very well with reject ratios about or less than 1 percent.

There should be no difference in rejected ratio between phoenix and poclbm, so it sounds weird. Are you using api.bitcoin.cz or api2.bitcoin.cz? If api.bitcoin.cz is the problem still here, even after restart which I did before moment?

I'm new to SLUSH. How do I withdraw immediate? Before I continue to mine at SLUSH, I need to know if
1) If I can withdraw immediate
2) if I can withdraw all 8 decimal places of btc.

I have set it at 1.0 btc for auto payout; but now I just set it at 0.01 btc. I have more confirmed btc than the 0.01 threshold but the payout was not initiated. HELP!

Hi, payments are processing twice per hour, so if you set threshold to 0.01 and you have higher threshold, just wait a moment.

ad 1) There's no manual payout option ("button"), but payments are processed twice per hour, so setting threshold to 0.01 will make the job...
ad 2) Not yet, but I'm testing this feature right now.

Look at this. Almost all shares are rejected by your pool using phoenix.

There should be no difference in rejected ratio between phoenix and poclbm, so it sounds weird. Are you using api.bitcoin.cz or api2.bitcoin.cz? If api.bitcoin.cz is the problem still here, even after restart which I did before moment?

I'm using api.bitcoin.cz. Here are the commandlines I'm using:

poclbm:
Code:
poclbm.py -d 0 -w 256 -v -f 1 "user:pass@api.bitcoin.cz:8332"
phoenix:
Code:
./phoenix.py -u "http://user:pass@api.bitcoin.cz:8332" DEVICE=0 BFI_INT WORKSIZE=256 VECTORS AGGRESSION=11 FASTLOOP=false -k phatk

The strange thing is, that if I point all my GPU's to your pool, only some GPU's experiencing the *high* reject ratio. And sometimes it's better, and sometimes worser. For instance, yesterday before things get really wired, only two of my miners there getting higher reject ratios. The other 8 there running quite smooth. Later things get worse... (read my yesterday posts).

Using cgminer I have the same problems with your pool. Only poclbm works stable. Other pools are perfect no matter with miner software I'm using. It's something special with your pool.

Can you give a hint, WHY these shares get rejected?

BTW... today phoenix using api2 seems to work. For one hour no problems so far.

Regarding this rejected/invalid shares I switched yesterday one of my miners to another pool to test it.

FYI here you are the statistics after about 20 hours:

Temp    Fan% (rpm)    Load  Rate     Accept/Invalid   Status
0: 75.5c   82% (3843-)   98%   383 Mhs  5949/83 (1.38%)  api2.bitcoin.cz
1: 76c     70% (3434)    99%   390 Mhs  6258/76 (1.20%)  api2.bitcoin.cz
2: 74.5c   70% (3492+)   99%   389 Mhs  6214/14 (0.22%)  bitcoins.lc

With slush I usually get 1.5-1.9% of invalid shares

23 Accepted vs. 11 Rejected. This is almost 50%. Something is really wired with your pool. Same for cgminer (lastest git). Other pool do not have such problems.

I know about many phoenix miners connected to api2 and nobody has such problem. 50% stale is *obviously* bad, but you're the only person who reported this. So I'm little suspicious about some other problems 'on the way', like network routes. You're not mining on the pool right now, so I cannot debug it specifically for you, but pool servers performs well at this moment, so I don't see anything to 'fix'.
