Please recommend best difficulty for S9 13.5 & 14.
Default is 128 - is this OK?
Thank You.

If you leave the default alone, the pool will auto adjust the difficulty just fine.

Ok, so I have a setup of 40 miners with 3 other associates...

We have agreed upon taking out the profit twice a month

But as it seems, you cannot send a specific amount to a BTC address, rather than just send the whole balance after it crosses the payout...

Can this be done? I am saying this because I would not like to pay the txfees (I know they are kinda low, but whatever you can save, its better)

Not sure what exchange you use, but I use quadriga CX, and they don't charge a fee for withdrawing BTC from their wallet. So I send their and then can forward it accordingly after I decide what to sell/hold
I get what you say, but this does not say anything about my original question... Is there a way to withdraw a specific amount of balance in Slush's pool?

Why not just set the payout ratio to a very high number, say like 3 btc. And when u wanna withdraw, u set it to a the amount of your balance. It will then withdraw on next payout yes.

Selling 100 dollar coupons (8units expire 11th June, 14 units expire 1st july) and 125 dollar coupon (2 unit exp 30th June). Selling at 20% of value

And again the road to the 8 hours ( or more )  without finding a block. Sad

I wonder if shuting down the miners after the average number of  daily block have been found is not a better deal...

I just mine elsewhere once luck hits more than 150% - and come back when luck starts to trend to 80

Yes I've already thought about switch pool when bad luck, have you noticed a real gain doing that ?
Ps: as soon as I spoke about slushpool, they found a block ! But still under 75% luck right now...

Yes. And No.

I have a site that tracks pool "Performance", not the same as luck but similar.
I switch hash to pools that are under performing and I expect them to "catch up".
Think "buy low, sell high" as if you are trading a stock.
I don't have any hard evidence to prove that the system works yet but I plan to audit the performance results and tweak the strategy.
For example, I switched out of slush yesterday and went into VIA. Now (or soon) will be the time to switch back into slush as luck returns.
My system helps me make decisions based on numbers and not emotion.

Here is the caveat: By the time you feel like you should switch away from a pool because it has bad luck it is already too late. When you're already experiencing a period of bad luck that is the time you should be thinking about switching more hash into the pool that is having the bad luck.

However, remember that pools like slush use score system that discourages frequent pool hopping.

An equally valid strategy is just stick with pool like slush that shares fee reward with miners and over a long period the luck will average out.

Just to make this post even longer and give you something else to think about:
The difficulty adjustment is coming up in about 2 days and often fewer blocks are found right after DA, based on my observations. That's when I switch in to pool that has PPS for a couple days so at least I'm getting regular payouts during the adjustment.

Pool switching can be stupid if you do it based on emotion but if you have some strategy behind it then it can be smart.
Its your hash. Do with it as you please.

No, there is no strategy.
It can't be 'smart'

Wonder how close to the previous block it was, if it's within a few seconds, can definitely see an "empty" block.

So I decided to throw too of my s9 on BTC to see, still too soon to see results, but you think that doing half miners on SLUSH, anf the other half on BTC.co is a bad idea ?
( 3 + 3 in my plan )

Please can Slushpool look into merge mining Crown(CRW)?
Hashrate has fluctuated between 1 - 2 EH for several months now.

Current Hashrate - Crown.Today

Crown has a proposal in  "Development Corner" #597.

Thanks, another question.

Let's say I have 0.1 btc (my threshold is 0.5 btc), but I want to withdraw only a part of that amount at the moment.

If I lower the threshold to 0.03 for example, is this what will happen:

0.03 btc will automatically be paid out
0.07 btc will remain in my pool account

Yes, that .03 would be paid out, leaving whatever's left.  That is how it worked for me back in November...I still had residual in the account that was already confirmed.

hi,

With my 13.5 Th/s S9s, on the miner statu  I have on Slushpool LSDiff around 13332. ( I tried difficulty 128, then custom that made 13332, then came back to 128 which if I well understand is like AUTO )

But with other 13.5 Th/s S9 on BTC.com pool I see LSDiff at 16384.

What is the...Why this 16384? Isn't it for 16 th/s ?  ( 16384 / 1024 )

thank you.
( yes I know maybe more a BTC pool question but it's dead zone on his pool thread )

@latoxine34 Each pool aims for a different number of shares from your miner - that's why each pool will set different LSDiff
