Dang!  I saw this thread when it was just the first post. And I thought, hey, this looks pretty neat. But some reason I forgot to check again. And now it's all over the internet with those press releases.  The key to any new announcement of a coin, or new startup is to take time and check out if the project is solid, do your research, and if it's to your liking, get in early. I've been a member here since may of 2014, and didn't start posting until about a month ago. I missed out in 3 years worth of investments. However, its better late than never. The best opportunities seem to have small windows, so you got to be careful not to miss them like I did! |

This is my first year in crypto and I can tell it moves fast, incredibly fast. I already missed several massive opportunities in the past few weeks alone! It's really overwhelming, moving too fast for research or "due diligence" as they say. I was just thinking how hard it is to keep track of all the altcoins I have in my portfolio, managing several wallets and updating the blockchains, and at the same time keep an eye on the exchange rates. Just being able to store several different coins in a single wallet would be huge boon, let alone having a way to exchange and spend them in a single place. |

A living, and breathing entity (metaphorically speaking ) with seperate parts, each with their own function, working in unison. The pioneer, Satoshi Nakamoto, whether a single person, or team of people, can be seen as the Prometheus of modern day economics. He set in place a small mechanism that set off a chain of events that have snowballed down hill, and cascaded into an avalanche. Blockchain technology has took the world by storm. Welcome to the new world, a digital age of innovation and decentralization. The blockchain is only the beginning. Hodl on folks, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!  |

One more thing, Centra will be shipping the Blue card to international ICO participants, right? How soon can international participants receive it? Any additional charges for shipping the blue card to international participants?

I think it's good that there are multiple corporations working on releasing the same products like Centra, TenX and Monaco.With the free enterprise model, endusers will benefit in the long run as they can shop around as to who will provide the best service to them. I think Centra, at the moment, has the best product & lowest charges among the 3. Yes, competition is good for this kind of industry. Each of the company will always innovate things to gain customers rather than settle for less because on no competition. As of now, Centra offers the much development from all of them especially on the products that they are offering. |

There are few details about the insurance policy. The whitepaper says it's insured by the Protarian Insurance Group. Then they must trust Centra will be very secure and/or very profitable.
But security is difficult. Credit cards and debit cards are stolen all the time. In some cases the resulting chargebacks are forwarded to the merchant instead of the payment processor, bank or insurance company. I think that's rather unfair to the merchant. But if I read correctly, Protarian Insurance Group will insure such situations?
Centra's profit doesn't come from exchange rate fees, which are 0%, nor from trading with customer funds, because >99% are in offline storage. Then there are the 2% rewards on spending. Annual fees are too low to compensate. Centra is not a credit card, so there is no income from interest either. I suppose the main source of income will be CBay.
Then I draw the conclusion that the insurance policy, in fact the whole business model, depends on the success of CBay. Am I right?

I agree wholeheartedly. Seeing the viability and very few 'brands' in this space, I know that this is stepping into being a part of the next name you see on the bottom corner of credit cards for the future of cryptocurrency. I know if I missed this opportunity I would kick myself like I did for many in the past. |

I agree wholeheartedly.
