Greetings. Once a trader, but became a HODL-bug 'bout a year and a half ago. Big fan of Syscoin and Jag's work on it. Just became aware of some Devcoin fundamentals today - been in crypto quite a while and just now became somewhat illumined on DVC for crying out loud.
If I choose to buy a bit of DVC, how is altilly? I've never used it, and I'm normally very skittish about exchanges. Any withdrawal or other issues?

Where do you get the DVC to sell at such a discount to exchanges? How much supply do you have left? It would be nice to let exchanges handle trades sowe can get higher volume and a realistic price.

I’ve used it for a couple months. Really smooth on mobile, fast trade execution, and never any issues with it. Plus they have the cheapest DVC right now since they trade on the LTC market.

Wikipedia is old, we now have Everipedia! It is a blockchain baked encyclopedia, created by the founders of Wikipedia. They are wide open to document cryptos (quick search google for: Cryptocurrency site:everipedia.org). The only drawback is that you should buy IQ tokens from the EOS blockchain, in order to create a page. The good news is that I have IQ tokens so all you have to do is to create the page and share the link with me. I'll take care of getting it voted!! NOTICE! For every edit on that everipedia you need votes, so you have to be very careful before sending any edit, since I don't have much BRAIN POWER (similar to STEEM POWER) so it takes week to recover! Go go Devcoin!!

Round 87 and 88: Call for DevSTEEM Marketing team writers!Round 87 DEADLINE: November 19th, 2018. Round 88 DEADLINE: December 19th, 2018. This is a friendly reminder of your assignment: Make positive noise on steemit.com about Devcoin. The payment is one ongoing share! It means that you get 1 share on every round as long as you keep making positive noise on steemit.com about Devcoin (redundancy is intentional!). This is what you should be doing: 1. Write at least one post (500 words) in every round about something related with Devcoin 2. Mention @devcoin in your post and use the #devcoin tag 3. Link your post in a comment to this post: https://steemit.com/devcoin/@devcoin/now-open-devsteem-writers-application4. Include your Devcoin address and the round your post belongs to. WARNING! If you don't report on time, you loose your ongoing share the next round! Questions? Please send your question(s) into a comment here: https://steemit.com/devcoin/@devcoin/now-open-devsteem-writers-application- develCuy

If this is the future for blockchain then for society's sake I hope it all dies. Take care

DevFund: Devcoin Software Development FundHi everyone! In agreement with Ctya and thanks to Unthinkingbit, from round 88 we are setting up a wallet for the Development team of Devcoin. The idea is to have a budget at hand for critical tasks required to maintain and develop the source code of Devcoin https://github.com/devcoin. All interested parties are welcome to track the official address of DevFund: 19hM1CJzN2FYiR8CcrEe2X7SbJ69xH8nZ6, which has assigned 12 ongoing shares. Also, I'm programing a web interface to publish the transactions, so that available funds, ins and outs can be tracked freely. This is all for now, since the wallet is empty at this moment, we'll start working on budget from round 89. Go go Devcoin!! - develCuy

Devcoin.org website has been timing-out since some time yesterday. Today we saw a drastic slowdown in block production after 350897 and again after 350901.
Does anyone have anything to share about these occurrences?

I've seen also that devtome.com is down Sorry for the down time for devcoin.org and devtome.com. We had a stuck backup process that kept taking the server down everytime the backup job was restarted. It seems to be ok now. ctya

Great! https://github.com/devcoin/core#development-processDevelopment process Developers work in their own repositories and branches, then submit pull requests when they think their feature or bug fix is ready. If it is a simple/trivial/non-controversial change, then one of the Devcoin development team members simply pulls it. If it is a more complicated or potentially controversial change, then the patch submitter will be asked to start a discussion (if they haven't already) on the Devcoin Core Issues page at https://github.com/devcoin/core/issuesThe branch will be accepted if there is broad consensus that it is a good thing. Developers should expect to rework and resubmit patches if the code doesn't match the project's coding conventions (see doc/coding.md) or are controversial. The master branch is regularly built and tested, but is not guaranteed to be completely stable Join in and start closing issues , or opening and closing issues. Develcuy can work with you to get you on the Developer Share list to receive devcoins in exchange for work.
