I've still been trying to get either SSH access, standard API access, or their supposed own API access documents from the sales/support teams for a while with no response.

Has anyone else been trying to get this information? Manually configuration and modifying lots of these devices will be a pain with out API access. Hoping I can get this before our next big batch comes in.

DragonMint firmware API is available here: https://halongmining.com/api/ (which is in addition to cgminer API).

Thank you for the heads up on this!

For Halong Mining's DragonMint T1 customers to expedite warranty validation process....

Please lightly shake unopen T1 box and listen for any metal object loose inside. (If so, please look for the fallen off metal heatsink and report immediately and please DO NOT power it on)

Please gather these items before request warranty service.

1: Picture of the original T1 box overview as well as the close up of the side where it has original serial number sticker and shipping sticker
2: Halong/Myrig Order Number
3: Shipping Tracking Number of the miner you are experience problems
4: unedited screenshot of Miner Status Page.
5: http://192.168.1.100/logs  <== system log can be copy and paste from this url within your miner
6: Brief description of what is wrong with your miner

for 1-2 hash PCB not start to hash, please try to update or reinstall the firmware, if this does not fix it, please try one of the following firmwares.  One of the version may get your miners to hash

First Option: http://ck.kolivas.org/temp/t1_20180505_011816.swu
Second Option: http://ck.kolivas.org/temp/t1_20180428_053938.swu
Third Option: http://ck.kolivas.org/temp/t1_20180419_041500.swu

If none of them will recover all 3 hash PCB to hash, it is time to send it in for the replacement.

Per HalongMining's Performance threshold for exchange be hash rate loss must be greater than 8%.  The 16th/s miner according to Halong be within the advertised specification if it hashes above 14.72TH or higher.

Before send in any parts or unit to the service center address, please obtain TICKET Number

When you email above 1-6 information to support @myrig. com  you will receive an auto reply with a ticket number.

Please include a piece of paper with this ticket number inside the package and include your contact information as well as Halong/Myrig Order Number

@vincl

information from Halong is very limited and best we can do is provide them here as they becomes available.

questions regarding DragonMint T1 can be send to support@halongmining.com

Firmware wise from Halong Mining is downloadable from within the miner's interface itself and let you check for update.

@myrig

Hi,

I have received 5 T1 and 3 of them have not working hash PCB. I have 3 broken hash boards to be returned.
So only 2 working on 16 th/s.
It looks like halong hash boards are made very quickly without proper testing and QC check.

I would appreciate fast replacement from Spain as I am in EU located. I was told to send 3 broken to US and then wait for replacement.

Can you make cross shipping to save a time for me?

DHL notified me today of my tracking number from Halong Mining Ltd. for my DM1 "April Batch 2" order for several units, which I placed during the 2nd week of January.

Delivery is scheduled for May 10.

The Halong Mining website remains unchanged, however, showing a status of "Processing."

weren't you the 'I don't trust this company guy'?

[....] I don't think we have to suspect -ck's integrity after all the good job he has done for the community. I think that Halong and MyRig are legit and can be trusted [....]

I am now convinced that I will receive the DragonMint miners that I ordered in January (Batch 2). The primary reason I believe so is that -ck posted comments in this thread that convinced me. Slush Pool and Jan Čapek's tweets also helped to convince me. (See https://twitter.com/slush_pool/status/977499667985518592 and also https://twitter.com/janbraiins/status/978348386255556608.)

My getting to this place of (qualified) trust in the DragonMint was a long road. I know that -ck is a real person with an established track record. I agree he's done great work for the community, and I trust him. On the other hand, what Halong Mining said -- or, rather, what Halong didn't say -- didn't help me at all.

Having said all of the above, it remains clear that Halong Mining is not operating in the way that legitimate businesses operate for all the reasons I've stated in this thread. Even so, I recognize that, despite all the valid issues many still have with Halong Mining, it may deliver to us a functioning miner. It's a shame that Halong has chosen to operate in this unacceptable manner, because the industry is ripe to see competition against Bitmain. The angst that Halong Mining has caused its customers by outright refusing to provide proof of product, its lack of transparency, and its lack of compliance with business norms is inexcusable. Halong Mining has destroyed its own brand equity. I will absolutely never buy from Halong Mining again.

ok...okay.... everyone is allowed to come around eventually...just thought it was strange to read your note without knowing that you also said this here.

Is fair and healthy skepticism a "strange" thing? I am the guy who merely observed that a number of odd facts seemed to surround Halong Mining and that the "company" was behaving in an extraordinarily unusual manner, based on widely accepted business norms. Principally, I wrote about: (1) the unverifiability and lack of Halong's incorporation documents, (2) the anonymity of its management and ownership, and the fact that its only known manager goes by a pseudonym, (3) the lack of a physical mailing address, phone number, or registered agent, (4) the mystery of its jurisdiction (country) of operation, (5) the inability for us to hold Halong Mining accountable in a class action lawsuit should Halong put out dangerous or defective hardware and refuse to honor its warranty, (6) the unverifiability of the DM T1's claimed FCC certification, etc., just to name a few of these legitimate concerns.

There are still many unusual circumstances about this company, but I've already made that case in previous posts and won't go into any more detail here for now, unless it becomes relevant again. I'm on record making many fair observations about Halong. This community has given Halong the opportunity to address those concerns, which it hasn't.... Halong's refusal to answer basic, fair questions about itself has undermined its credibility. It's a shame if the company truly wishes to be a legitimate player.

Now the conversation seems to have shifted from Will Halong Mining ever really ship the DragonMint? ... to ... Is the DragonMint's failure rate unacceptably high? .... I'll be curious to watch how Halong Mining behaves in honoring its warranty.

Order status changed from 'Complete" to "Partial Shipment" this afternoon.
But the order tracking does not say what shipped, just how many packages (3).
I ordered three (3) T1s w/ power supplies, so not sure if I am getting T1s or PSUs.
Either way one is useless without the other.
I inquired about my earlier order that is still "Processing" and got this response:

"It should be in route in the next few days, fulfillment team had some pallets mixed up so later batches went out with some earlier batches."

Just passing info along so anyone that got the shipment confirmation should check again to make sure it shipped in full.

Disappointing

Please email support@myrig.com  also with your Myrig or Halong order number.  Based on the order number, procedure may varies from April's batch for the warranty process.  All march's batch be continued to be replaced with replacement parts rather than be repaired to expedite the process.

Well he obviously has not read a lot of this thread.

There is no question about it any more, Halong Mining and Dragonmint hardware are legit.

Can confirm. My units have started arriving.

None have included power supplies and have all still been marked as 'Partial Shipment' in my account. Not very useful but have tested that they function when I used other compatible power supplies.

Received 5 units today via DHL, order number 19xx, southeastern US via DHL.

The Good:
Units were packed in Bubble-wrap bags and foam carriers, individually boxed.  No clunking noises.
I ordered for April delivery, and am ecstatic to see them.  For context, my previous miners were Avalon Batch 1's (Months late) and Black Arrow (Never received anything).

The Bad:
They did not include power supplies.

I'm going to see if I can scratch up a power supply so I can test it.  It looks like I need a regulated 12v 1500 watt power supply with /10/ 6 pin molex/pci express connectors.  I'm open to suggestions on units known to work.

SON OF A &%$#*!

Just checked my order, #18XX, and it's still scheduled to arrive on 5/10, but it shows as a "partial shipment" as at least one other person noted. I ordered 5 miners and 10 PSUs, so I'm hoping that some of the PSUs arrive. If not, then it's Frankenstein time...gotta power it with bits and pieces scattered across the ebay universe.

Suggestions on alternate PSUs that are USA 120v compatible? Thank you!

When I need many watts and many PCIe connectors from a 120VAC PSU I run more than one.  Think RAID, but for PSU's, just don't mix PSU's on a hashboard and verify your power calcs before buying!

Edit-> Hagss has an example of this below:

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc
These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70

This server power supply kit is great for the 110/120V mains voltage systems.
It is including one Lite-On 1kW and one HP 750W server power supply.

LINK:
https://www.parallelminer.com/product/1850w-110-240v-80-gold-rated-power-supply-kit-for-dragonmint-t1-miner-dragonmint-b52-blake2b-miner/

BUT PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS WIRING DIAGRAM:
https://imgur.com/a/Lcx1UdP

You need to connect the Lite-On PSU for two hash boards. And then you connect the HP 750W PSU for one hash board and controller board.
Do not connect the two power supplies in the same circuit!
They'll 'fight' each other to death.

I contacted support regarding my missing PSUs.  They replied:

Quote
I see the order marked as partial shipment until we receive additional tracking details. PSUs are boxed separate so there are different pickup schedules. We will email a second notification when tracking is available for this, should be in the next few days.

I am extremely happy with their responsiveness in this matter.  It's only been a few hours since I dropped the ticket.
