What I did hear though is no reasonable explanation for it not being locked.
Actually, there is a reasonable explanation, or, at least, I found it reasonable, if not entirely likable. Basically, the entire roadmap got tossed like a cheap salad when CN coins started getting attacked back in Feb/Mar. The solution was to expedite the shift to Atlantis but that screwed up marketing, more exchanges, etc. Then there was the announcement and arrival of CN ASICs and we know what happened there. The premine is supposed to be used to pay for marketing, exchange listing fees, setting up the business (aka foundation) and, yes, paying staff (remember, no ICO) but once the amounts and block heights are locked there's no going back without a hard fork. CaptDero says the premine will be locked again soon and one can either take him at his word or not. I chose to take him at his word. |

Satoshi's wallet isn't locked and he isn't dead, tomorrow he could even dump 1M coins and you know what ? No one will care.
Why someone with the most advanced and revolutionary Blockchain tech would dump the premine ? Where is the logic ?
Its cute you think people are logical lol Thats going to bite you in the future. People were concerned about Mt Gox Trustee unloading 400 million an blame that for bitcoins price drop but you're right someone dumping 8 billion dollars worth on the market would be totally fine lol. What I did hear though is no reasonable explanation for it not being locked. Since when this kind of volume is sold on the market, the biggest are always sold OTC. (Out of The Chain). |

How can such a small piece like Dero attract so much Fud?
Ask yourself the right questions ...
Those who speak of premine whereas there is only 1btc of daily volume, I advise you to buy you a brain.
Captain is a respectful and respectable man, he has not disrespected anyone despite the FUD and remain very professional.
Compared his reaction to developers like Justin Sun, Roger Ver or other ....

Wonder which one JohnSmith falls under  Slapped him with evidence that BTCN dev is a completely different person than Captain, but no he has secret evidence. Dero Atlantis is intended to work with SSD.
You can still launch it with the --badgerdb flag on a HDD, but you have to sync it from the first block.
Hi, If possible, use ssd and fast connection Hello, i have downloaded Dero atlantis. and input file Database (~6GB) to folder mainnet. but when i run derod-linux-amd64, it is syncing very slow  after ~2 hour, it synced ~100k block. thank you, but i have HDD only. maybe it take 7 days to sync complete. :-s badgerdb flag is very fast. I synchronized it from the first block,but It took less than a day. which is "badgerdb flag"? can you show me the guideline to do it? |

Agree with it, or disagree, I couldn't care less. Though I do have to enquire about why I'm the only one in dero's community capable of actually reading and understanding the code (wtf community team?!).

Mt Gox Trustee sold on exchange i'm not sure if it was all on exchange or not but it definitely wasn't all OTC if any at all |

Captain Thats great to see were slowly getting all the answers everyone wanted to see and the questions are being answered and the doubt is slowly going away to the ones that still thinks this is a scam coin, there always a chance for it to be a scam but i highly doubt this is the case with Dero. as a friend of mine asked me, why would a small cap coin with small trade volume would get so much attention ? why so many people are trying to take this project down ? maybe because there is something that can make a HUGE difference in the Private Coin Department :-) so if you think its a scam and feel like your not safe with your investment you can always sell and move on and if you do believe this coin is going to be a major player in the Privacy market, the price now is a steal !!! |
