So far HF has promised a lot of things (products, refund updates, real-time production updates, pictures of the PCB) it did not deliver on.

Customer tickets are left unanswered. Communication with intermediates like Taco appears to have stopped. Instead we have silence, and yes - a picture of a guy holding a box.

Way to go HF. Don't get too comfy in your fancy new office space because if you keep running your company this way it won't be around for very long.

Please consider the following in a relaxed moment.

KnC does great in engineering, but customer handling has still sooo much [some] room for improvement.
You are confident you will design and produce comparable hardware I assume [in doubt].
If you keep in mind you can't get close to them easily as they have a margin due to an earlier start, it's clear you have to beat them another way, no?

Identify the weak point of KnC and do significantly better.
So what's THE weak point of KnC ? Right the customer handling and satisfaction. [They are doing good, so you could go for perfect]

With similar hardware but way better customer handling [which is hard but not impossible] and due to this [reaching] a higher customer satisfaction you have real chance for [a good share of the] market leadership in middle term [if you do not fail on hw]. Therefore you should really over-think your way of communication. [And not only for this reason]

Shit and mistakes happen as we all know. Planning is just preparation for the future.
You are a young company and there are lots of issues for sure.
The radio silence pattern plus confusing delays combined with misinformation, lies and missing two way communication is not the way to go.
[If you are not honest to your customers and competitors] It will break your neck next year.

How about a full disclosure of all problems, delays and milestones achieved ?
A completely transparent company with a public project plan - or at least accessible for customers.
Maybe the fear of its implications is unreasonable as the advantages of a partial or even full disclosure would be to have not an angry mob in case of trouble, but a crowd in sympathy willing to help and resolve the situation constructively the best for all parties involved.
[Or are things that worse behind the scene, that you do better sticking to your current scheme as too much disclose would cause a lawsuit?]

the core of the message remains the same:
if HF continues this way of customer satisfaction they are gone,
KnC is hard to beat as they produce cutting edge stuff in incredible short time frames (chip in hand on Sunday, first product in hand on same Sunday - wow!!) and the only chance for HF is to do PERFECT in regards of customer satisfaction..whatever they do for it, partial/full disclosure might work as it is the way Bitcoin itself works

The only reason I want HF not to disappear immediately is that competition in general is healthy and I'm in deep sympathy with HF customers as I was myself close to spend money on them - my gut told no..and I learned to listen to it.
I'll stick to KnCMiner as I'm very happy with my investment so far.
I wish all HF customers the best, in good intention.

PS  I've been reading about the new Global Work Queue.  It has the potential to do for devices what stratum did for cgminer (IE keep everything topped up and minimize idle time to squeeze out every last drop of performance)!

1) With 2 month delay for 1st batch customers, it would take 4.4TH if HF shipped mid-to-end of December to make 50BTC by end of January, so HashFast should ship all MPP right away to who ever paid for it without waiting till Jan because 1 batch customers are already at a loss. Better yet at least extend 2TH limit to 4-5TH

2) What about promise to ship 400Gh upgrade kit to batch 1 customers by Nov 15-30. When will batch 1 customers get that and how will they get compensated for losses?

We have already had 2 diff increases since the week we were promised delivery. There will be at least 2 more increases (more likely 3, possibly more given their WAGs on delivery) before we have miners in hand.

Without a better MPP it's going to be another avalon experience again, early VaporJet buyers will take a hell of a haircut.
