Nope. If the PSU is jump started with a paperclip then it's always on. Since the PSU is not in any way connected to the Raspberry Pi it has no way of shutting it down.

Its jumpered but something on the board prevents the psu from turning on (on my board at least). There are also 4 2pair wires that plug into the controller and 2 are for power switch and reset switch. Thats why i was asking what they do.

Pretty much. There is a function in the minepeon webapp, im not sure it actually resets the unit. I will test on monday.

there is 3 options, Restart Miner, Reboot, and Shutdown. Not sure what each do.

restart miner  fail manytime.. reboot is the better choice, never try the over ..

nope ... not the unit , only minepeon   ( the pi)

But don't worry. I'm going to pick up my BJ tonight from FedEx (HashFast shipped it to the wrong address), and once I do, I'm going to measure the power consumption right away at a variety of speeds and I'll post it here.

Default hashrate (clock 550) is 419 GH/s with power consunmption of 410 watts.

With clock at 600, power comsumption is about 448 watts. Harshrate is hard to measure because the BJ will occasionally reboot and screw up the cgminer stats. My estimate is it is somewhere between 430 and 450 GH/s.

I haven't gotten the BJ to work at 650 or 700 clock yet. It reboots too frequently.

You have to connect to you router and open up a port to forward to the raspberry pi. Every router is different but there should an option for it somewhere. On my belkin router it's called "virtual servers".

You need to set a static IP on your raspberry pi. I haven't figured out how to do this yet. The ssh port is port 22. The web management port is 80.

Is that really a separate controller board or is that the corner of the hashing board? If it's not a separate power control board I wonder how two modules will work - meaning how will the power switch and reset switch control both boards. That to me looks like one corner of the hash board so each board would have to have it's own power switch.

just forward the ports of the pi ip on your router , and then you have a web acces to miner.php, and to minepeon  settings.

I might be wrong, but forwarding port 80 from your router to the pi looks very unsafe to me.
And if you forward SSH, use a non-standard port on your router and forward it to port 22 of the pi.

I've put the power meter on it, and overclocked to 645 mine measures a solid 1.4TH @ 1480W on 240V at the wall. Bear in mind I have a slightly modified one with fans running flat out so it will probably be slightly less, but not that much less.

Con now is that a BJ or a Sierra or what that you have

If it is a BJ How many Mining Modules are in it and can you Post ALL your settings that gave you the 1.4th/s

Given the frequency, it should be a Sierra.
