or just the ethereum that exceeds the bitcoin value because bitcoin price is too high in the Philippines if the bitcoin falls somewhat but but as long as it does not fall it will not exceed its ethereum but if the price of 1 ethereum reaches 1 bitcoin and if the value drops suddenly does not impose this effect because many are using ethereum and second in bitcoin here in the Philippines.

It is quite next to impossible that Ethereum will over take Bitcoin. I don’t think Ethereum will take over Bitcoin even though Ethereum is the backbone of all the altcoins, but Bitcoin is Bitcoin with dominance. The market capital of Bitcoin is higher as well. I think BTC will maintain its dominance.

Just like bitcoin, may be Ethereum will rise more but not more than Bitcoin because the rise of cryptocurrency started from BTC. It may happen when people will be aware about the Ethereum. People who invested in BTC they must be known about the Ethereum that it will rise other wise not.

A lot of people of the opinion that one day Ethereum would overtake bitcoin. If we take other altcoins into consideration, then Ethereum would be the best of them.

For me both coins are good and should not over take each other. I believe both should remain strong. Ethereum is good for payment system we can handle single transactions and make our own ledger to check and maintain , on other hand bitcoin is good for bulk distribution. So for me, both are good and both are having there own qualities.

I really like the ethereum. But bitcoin will remain the main coin despite obvious shortcomings because so many people believe in it and because it was the first crypto currency.

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

Bitcoin occupies the most  of the market. If users, traders believe in this currency and they really does than Bitcoin wouldn’t be beated by any other cryptocurrency even Ethereum. Don’t be worried about it.

ethereum for now is a ticket-for-icos only. Bitcoin will always stay at first place in cryptocurrency world.
Correct! And what will be next when transaction slow and cost 2-20$ each. And number of ICO still growing?

We do not yet know what the future looks like but in fact the ETH has the highest volume after BTC. Judging from the present situation the price of ETH is on the rise.

BTC market cap $253,918,563,186
ETH market cap $118,932,908,053

BTC near of double so it's difficult to beat. We know BTC is mother concurrency, lot's of emotion attach with BTC so community don't want to see anyone beat BTC MC.

Despite all the negative speculation around Bitcoin, this coin can again show a very huge maximum of a comma but its competitor is an etherium, does not have those growth indicators, but is a fairly strong representative of the crypto currency in which it is worth investing its funds.

I can bet a million dollars(only if I have a million dollars) that Bitcoin will be at the top. Ethereum has a good future but Bitcoin has a better future.

Ethereum is just amazing, for sure. Eventhough i really like and support eth, i don’t think it’s gonna overtake Bitcoin. It’s actually very hard to believe Huh

I think that the etherium will never catch up with bitcoins, since bitcoin is the father and mother of all alcotoins. Alkotoins can not get to the bar that bitcoin took, maybe someday it will grow to the current bitcoin price but then bitcoin, but bitcoin meanwhile will take the bar much higher!

The author made too loud a statement of this topic and I could not pass by. The etherium is good, the etherium will be improved, there is no doubt about it, but I do not believe that it will be able to shift bitcoins. Bitcoin was the first and so and will remain despite all his problems.
