Hey, anyone got a stable setting without BIOS modding for a MSI Armor RX 580 8gb??

I'm using the following on my dag:

-gt 0 -mt 1 -cclock 1200 -cvddc 900 -mclock 2080 -mvddc 925

and i'm getting 28,1 mh/s but my effective @ ethermine goes arround almost half of this..

Any ideia what that could be or if that's normal?

delete -gt 0 and add -rxboost 1

Hello everyone.

So I have a rig with 1080Ti and I downloaded Ethenlargmentpillr2 and of course it worked but it was a TROJAN virus and I downloaded it from a legit link on this site from GitHub. After a week I saw someone on the screen moving the mouse going through my browser passwords trying to log into Binance. Anyway. He couldn't and I removed all passwords. It worked fine but 2 days later the rig crashed and everyone was deleted all my software and desktop icons. Windows want even working right.


Anyway, long story short I heard that Pheonix now has -straps option that would do the same thing. Of course it needs admin so if the rig reboots I have to start it manually. But that's ok. The pill was the same.


So on my 1080Ti
I normally get only 32Mh over locked to 2000 for core and 5500 for memory.

I tried - straps 1 it crashed
I tried - straps 2 it increased to 39, not quite as 47 like I had with Ethenlargmentpillr2
I tried - straps 3 and it crashed and artifacted almost instantly

So I was hoping I can raise attention to the virus (took me 12 hours to reinstall windows and drivers and set up everything over)

And I was hoping someone can help me get back to 47 My/s on my 1080Ti by just using Pheonix. Everyone says switch tovTRex but I'm used to Pheonix.

I have 5x 1080Ti running at 46.5Mhs at 210w, i use +150/+650 88% POWER OC settings and -staps 2

If anyone knows a better OC setting please share.

you have a space between - and straps. not sure if you copy/pasted but that would be a problem.

The space was a typo. But I am getting closer.

I ahve a 1080Ti watercooled EVGA SC2 version, the -straps 2 works idential to the pil, I get 47MH unless I move teh mouse or open chrome when it drops to 43-44 range, overclocked GPU to 2025 above that it crashes and memory is +294 somewhere in the 5000s but doesnt really make much of a difference between +286 to 1000 it slows a small amount.

Now my other 1080 Ti is a gigabyte Turbo 11G FE style blower. That one works grea twith the ETH pill getting same 47 but with Pheonix -straps 2 it crashes almost instantly. so I have it on -straps 1 where it only gets 39. Any helps is appreciated!

My rig was taken over by remote control using the ETH pill and I used the link in the first post of the thread , not sure if it was that or something else doing it .I had to reinstall windows from sxcratch.

I have got it to 30mh/s.  I just one click modded the bios(mt 1 seemed unstable) however with samsung memory most people are saying I can go up to 2250 however I cannot get it above 2050 with these settings

I have the latest 461.09 Nvidia drivers. Do I need to downgrade my drivers?

Overclocking memory higher depends mostly on the quality of your silicon, that means being lucky to get a card that will overclock that much. You may also have to increase voltages to push higher too usually resulting in more watts burned than hash improvement gained. I've had some 570s that could to 2250 2 years ago but now, perhaps due to the dag size increases those gpus only do 2100 now. I run mine 2100@800v,1065clock@800mv getting 29.5mhs but they never crash - running 170hrs+. If you've got a stable setup at 30mhs that's a lot better than one that you've pushed only to crash every 2 hrs.

I was mining in my computer with a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060Ti 5.5c since february 9th and it was ok.
Later, I swaped to a MSI Geforce RTX 3070 on February 12th and it was ok, but a couple of days after that I started to see problems. Since then, I've seen it starts to mine for a couple of minutes (or a couple of hours, I actually can't get the time pattern here), then shows some artifacts on the screen (https://i.imgur.com/7jkF90H.png) and crashes, rebooting the PC.

I was always working with Nvidida drivers 461.40. Right now I'm downgrading to 457.51 version for testing that.
Anyone have an idea what could be happening here?

Looking into the log files, I see that sometimes it stops randomly (the file ends there) without giving any error. But sometimes the files show some kind of errors like these:

I was mining in my computer with a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060Ti 5.5c since february 9th and it was ok.
Later, I swaped to a MSI Geforce RTX 3070 on February 12th and it was ok, but a couple of days after that I started to see problems. Since then, I've seen it starts to mine for a couple of minutes (or a couple of hours, I actually can't get the time pattern here), then shows some artifacts on the screen (https://i.imgur.com/7jkF90H.png) and crashes, rebooting the PC.

I was always working with Nvidida drivers 461.40. Right now I'm downgrading to 457.51 version for testing that.
Anyone have an idea what could be happening here?

Looking into the log files, I see that sometimes it stops randomly (the file ends there) without giving any error. But sometimes the files show some kind of errors like these:

Hi guys, been years since i mined, but with fees now being 500$ when I want to do something, I think im gonna run this scrypt.

I tried googling but cant find a resource easily.

I used to sign up on a site, use the login, pass in the txt file, along with parameters for my 1080ti (its water cooled), change the mem/cpu freq, and then run the bat file. Is anything different now? Anyway wanna recommend a mining pool I should join?
