brb making refund form, I'm done with this.
I think Yifu is just scared shitless now that Zefir has posted and proposed to the investors to pursue legal action. But, shouldn't we just say "fuck the refunds" and legally bury Avalon for good? I'd happily throw in some extra BTC to fund such operation. Even though I'm in steamboats groupbuy and not Zefir's, I'm going to support his action with hard BTC might it need to come to that. It's time the bitcoin community took a stance against these elaborate scams. +1 This was intentional, and when it is proven, yifu, it will mean jail-time for you and your gang.

Now lets see if Yifu actually issues any of those refunds, this is starting to sound like nefario to me.
He hasn't refunded Batch 3 customers yet, what makes anyone think he'll honour chips refunds? ?? I'm pretty sure batch 3 customers got their refunds. Are you fucking kidding me? Only one person got their refund. I and no one else have received theirs and have the blockchain to prove it. Obviously you are no longer in control of your company Yifu. EDIT: Details from ticket #1343 that was completely ignored. Refund form on Google Docs was also filled out. Order number: 4793 BitPay invoice: <redacted for now> Transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/1ba37af34c45ead4aa94980f2de821e62304631e5a7fe69b5fa5d7c6d4799768Refund address:1NXk9vEKg8LkcHtHwuZTPhFbUDS6L5Gy29 +1, still DID NOT get batch 3 refund despite filling out the Google form. Even opened support ticket # 1364

1 - Refund all who have already requested it NOW! 2 - Refund all who will request it within 24 hours! 3 - Post an apology immediately telling us what really happened Then you can start mending your chi.

He's set back so many that built businesses around this.. and spent countless hours developing hardware / software to work with the chips. BKK seems to come to mind the first, many others I'm not so concerned about, as they were lousy with their customers (ahem, Terrahash).
Everyone should consider supporting BKK a bit with all that he's done for the community here. Forgive me for leaving out others that probably worked just as hard behind the scenes.
Yifu- Fuck your Chi.

AFAIK we got chips worth ~14mil usd. probably community will find some pennies for burnin, bkk and other assemblers. It will be easy to figure out who should get what ammount since there are clear delivery adresses in each group buy for each assembler.

What a shame. This company could have been great. It has been driven into the dirt by an incompetent little boy. Yifu, you have no face and are a waste of carbon. You not only make your company look bad, you make Bitcoin look bad. But hey, as long as you got paid, fuck everyone else, right?
I received my batch 3 Avalons, but many tradeins were never processed and only one person ever received a refund (anemone5). For you NOT to be aware of this is laughable yet sad. You are a true shitbag. And to think I gave you the benefit of the doubt for so many months. I am angry FOR these people and hope you get what you deserve, prison time.
They were making a ton of money. I don't see why they didn't hire a customer support person. Even BFL has BFL_Jody to tell people to go fuck themselves.

Wow. Now the question is: was your refund just a token bone to keep the wolves away, or is Yifu actually going to handle the batch 3 refunds that have piled up? Sorry, but it is really hard not to be jaded by this BS.

Professionalism / Standards... we should demand that from all businesses operating in bitcointalk.

Avalon needs guarantees in the future, Instant refunds when asked, and 2-4 day shipping, no wait time. And to clear Avalon's name they must compensate us with future chips.
Are you high? Yes :-) ROFL! Classic Now that you mention it...

Now how about the missing batch 1/2/3 orders?
BitSyncom, if you are still reading, take a look at tickets 806, 1136 and 1514.

Under the circumstances, I hope you won't be too upset to learn that many people will be extremely skeptical of refund claims until a bunch of people start posting their txids.

My thinking is that if we keep calling him, leaving him voicemails and pressuring him to address the issues he will step up.
How long before he changes phone number? spiccioli that number stopped forwarding a while ago, since people are so hell bend on thinking we are selling chips to somebody in china first I'll address that. there is a lot of people who bought chips purely for reselling, however the stock is 10k or so at most like all the other orders. I hope people did not think only people outside of china bought Avalon chips. ( out of the 800k chips, more than 50% are chinese orders.) In addition, these resellers only have small quantity of chips ( since we didn't ship that many yet.) whether is alibaba or the chinese forums, I'd love to see anyone make a large purchase from these "resellers", because they simply do not have the chips, despise what they may advertise. In other news, we are shipping as per usual like our last update and are doing the best we could but probably simply going to offer full refund soon, I am tired of this toxic community malformed by greed. It would be less toxic if fabricators answered their customers questions in a timely manner as well as their support tickets. I have been waiting for 24 days for a response to our refund request. Unfortunately the toxicity is a direct result of the lack of information. Refunds are the right course of action but only if they are IMMEDIATE. If that is done I am sure that you may be able to resuscitate your business but further delays will prove very very costly not for the customer base but Bitsyncom and it's owners. #1441 Failed to Receive our Development Chips in 4 weeks.
Darin M. Bicknell reported 25 days ago As shipments are late and delayed past the 9 to 10 weeks promised we would like an immediate refund.
Refund address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Darin M. Bicknell said 20 days ago We now have zero access to the store site and the order page. Please explain.
Darin M. Bicknell said 19 days ago Why is processing our refund taking 6 days? This should be resolved in 24 hours not 6x as long. Please answer your tickets. It is 1 week more and we still do not have tracking information. We have not received our developer chips as promised what is going on? We want information now not in a week after we send in a ticket. Let us get this resolved. We want a refund. We want it now. You have failed to deliver as promised.
Darin M. Bicknell said 17 days ago 1 week.
No reply.
Darin M. Bicknell said 15 days ago We received our developer chips 3 weeks late. This is in breach of contract. Where do we return the developer chips? Also we are still asking for a full refund as you have not fulfilled the delivery dates as per your contract terms.
Darin M. Bicknell said 10 days ago We are still waiting on our refund for these chips. 2 weeks now and still waiting.
Darin M. Bicknell said 12 hours ago It has been more than 3 weeks and still no reply on our refund ticket.

Unfortunately the toxicity is a direct result of the lack of information.
How curious that the bitcoin community thinks the US Government can not force them to do anything, and yet they are forced to make toxic posts because someone else does not post frequently.
