I'am having trouble again ,the asic usbs are all showing in device manager and I re-installed the drivers but out of 11 only 6 are being detected by bitminter client any ideas?
The bitminter client for me keeps freezing and becoming unresponsive so I have to close it with task manager.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Is it a hub you are using and if it is, is it powered. If it's powered is the power supply big enough for 11 usb sticks. I would try putting just half of them in skiping a port in between. You may not have enough juice to run them all.

Just a thought as I had something similar and ended up running 22 sticks on a block eruptor 49 port hub powered by a 850 watt atx power supply.

asicminer block erupters ,they worked fine for months but since Christmas have been losing them one by one until none work .
The client used to show all 11 working at max speed but upon checking the shifts found out they had not hashed for days .
Now although device manager shows all 11 with updated drivers ,the client only seems to detect 6 .

I have 5 in a 7 port powered D-Link hub ,the other 6 are directly plugged into the usbs on the motherboard ,like I say they work well for the first couple months .
when I try to update java it says it is fully up to date.
I uninstalled the 5 that was not getting picked up by the client ,restarted my computer ,re-installed the drivers one by one and still bitminter client will not detect them .

I just maximised my bitminter client and nothing is showing in it except a picture of my windows desktop .
The client quickly becomes unresponsive and I have to close with task manager

A couple users reported running on block erupters locked up the whole client, then they reinstalled the drivers and the problem went away. Could you try that?

I did re-install the drivers on 6 of them but I will try to uninstall all of them then re-install .
I did try uninstalling the bitminter client but although it has removed it from add/remove it is still in the programs list .

Really glad I moved my miners back to Bitminter a few days back.  Blocks have been coming left, right, and center. I see we're pushing 401 Thps, I guess that has something to do with it?

Either way.  Thanks to the Dr. for keeping it up and running smoothly.

Cheers!

Hi, its may overcharged but how would it be to add other Cryptocoin(s) to the pool? This could be very interessting for people with low Ghash. But it would be hard to choose one, cause you never know which coin will be good. The Bitminter client is just awesome its so easy to setup and so comfortable.  Many people would mine over the BitMinter client cause they maybe got problems with cgminer or bfgminer.

Please excuse my bad English Smiley

Best regards

I know I am behind the curve when it comes to the hardware front...but I am getting my first blade (we all can't afford the big shiny new 100+ GH gear but if I save my bit pennies I might one day).   but what I am getting to is do I need the proxy (which I have no issues getting) or should I just hook it to the Getwork?  whats the pros and cons of both....(apologies if it has been asked, but 300+ pages is quite a bit of reading...)

I'd love to keep it in the family but I'm putting a bunch of block eruptors up on Ebay in the next couple days.  They run 336 mh/s but I'm selling them in sets of 9 with an Anker Hub which should net you around 3 gh/s.  Here is a link to one of my auctions that just ended.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261406606655?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

There will be a few more coming out soon so let me know if you want me to send you the link.
