The fact is lots of people use blockchain.info, but we just need to take it's origin notice with a grain of salt.
It's still pretty accurate though isn't it ? say 99% ?

No. Not that accurate. It would be interesting to work out just how accurate it is though.

Is it a good idea to turn on auto cash out? I worry i'll get nothing because it subtract the fee of the transaction from my share.

Lousy storms and high winds knocked out the power last night for longer than my battery backup could run things for  Angry

Back in action now though! I just need to get through 10 shifts haha

Woohoo!  And last night I finally got my miners set up to run 24/7 (I think).

Is there a thread here on Bitcointalk where the difficulty jumps are followed?

I figured I'd ask here so as to avoid starting a thread and because I know I can count on Bitminter miners to be helpful. Smiley

Auto cash out is free - Bitminter pays the fee for you. There will soon be a manual cash out too, but that will require a fee.

Seriously, organofcorti is absolutely the man when it comes to statistical analysis.

Both Organofcorti and Meni Rosenfeld are very good with the math, statistics and perhaps most importantly: probability theory.

I think it is human nature to fail horribly at understanding probability.

It's OK to not be as good as these guys. I think it is more important to understand the limitations of our own knowledge and skills. Read and use the stuff they write. Smiley

Never used a different pool. never will in all probability unless Bitminter ceases to exist. Just wanted to say a big thanks to Doc and happy mining everyone..
Just wanna say, I never had it "so good when I could mine on Bitminter".

Thank you, sirs Smiley Much appreciated.

You're more than welcome. Some real quick blocks this morning whilst i was sleeping i could see that once I woke up! Making money in your sleep is priceless

Oh, I know plenty of sites to track the difficulty.  I was looking for a thread here on Bitcointalk where people gab about it.

There's nothing like collecting that first bitcent from your mining efforts!

Except possibly your first solo-mined block in 2009, saved until 2013 or later - but I wouldn't know how that feels, so I can't compare...

Hi Dr.

I am a relatively new user 4 days total.   My payout appears to be stuck.   I haven't had a payout since 05:XX this morning.   I do have coin in the unconfirmed, last night I did turn off prepay perks, however I turned them back on today.

Am I waiting for the 120 blocks to clear?  Or is it stuck?

I am sure this questions has been asked before, I did try to look it up before I asked.  So sorry in advance if this has been covered.

Has anybody gotten a payout today? Mine is unconfirmed as well. Maybe something to do with the craziness, more people moving around btc? I notice there's no fee on the transaction - that def slows it down.

I got one this morning.

(However, I had a notifier that should've sent me an email when I received Bitcoin at my payout address, and didn't get the notification.  But that is not supplied by Bitminter.)

No fee?  I checked my most recent payout, and it definitely had a fee.  Are you sure?  Would you care to share the transaction ID?

Still waiting on this TX over 15 hours i think.

Will be a while before it gets picked up it seems...im guessing when we mine blocks we are prioritizing transaction with fees over our own payout transactions. makes sense , but curious if that whats happening.
