ok stupid question lately when I try and start Bitminter I get a "Failed to Validate certificate. The application will not be executed" error.

I have the latest version of Java installed. and for the life of me can't get bitminter to work? .... even by using an older version or the beta

PS: is there support for the NanoFury usb sticks yet?

Could you see if it helps to flush the Java cache?

No. Any info on how these are programmed?

Fromm my knowledge the nanofury communicates directly with the mining software. Bfgminer has implemented it. Although I would have a chat with Vs3 to find out more concrete information.

Message me if you have any problems

Figured I should chime in here...

BitMinter client "stable" doesn't seem to work with my BFL Jalapeno. It'll detect it OK, but spits out errors about Icarus detection in the log, and when I try to start it, it cranks for a few seconds then hangs. Subsequent attempts to start/stop the device acts like I'm talking to a dead program.

The beta version worked first-try, no issues (except the Icarus errors on a COM port I'm not using), at about the same speed I was getting out of BFGMiner. CPU usage is a little high, but switching the UI to performance mode brings it down to 0-2% where BFGMiner was.

Seems the beta is more stable than the stable version Wink

edit: Strangely, the "Work units queued up" number seems to flicker... as I watched it after posting this, it was at "410"... "405""409"... "404""408"... it flickers a lower number then settles on a higher number about once every 2/3-second. Hrm... worth looking into? Or is that just normal operation as it feeds info to the unit and gets new work?

If you compare the BFL to a baby you are trying to feed; sometimes you feed it too much and some of the food comes back out.

My Block Erupters are working fine with beta 3. The Red Fury still gives a timeout on initialisation though I can get it to hash at 2.4GH/s using bfgminer.

I've had the block erupters working on since 1.3 they just might need to be detected via tools> scan ports [going by memory atm]

What do you mean 1.4 didn't like the proof of work? Do you see an error message?

Still Time out with BF1. Any News?

If it still fails to detect even after you unplug and plug the device back in, then use bfgminer for now. I hope to get this fixed soon.

After unplug an plug the Device it is recognized, but it still won't hash.
