I don't know what happened. You only gave us your deposit address but Cloudbet told that it is not your deposit address on Cloudbet. They rejected to give details publicly that I can understand. Sportsbet.io rejected to give details publicly too. To be fair, I think other companies should keep their user identity information in secret because when is leaked, it can be used for shady and harmful things, like doxing.

Assumed what you said is the truth: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/address/qp468pkf0ujwcpr4ak70ceya4seyapzy4vxk7hewqv
With that address, you make 367 BCH into Cloudbet. All are marked as Unspent. I don't know how Cloudbet do with customer deposits and how they will credit balance for customer to bet.

Assumed Cloudbet is a liar about your deposit address, I don't understand why they lift the KYC card to freeze your account for 74 BCH while you made more than 270 BCH before that day.

On another day 20 Sep 2020, you made more than 74 BCH deposit: 159 BCH. Weird!

I don't protect Cloudbet for any reason. I am curious what happened only.

It is my deposit address, i promise 150%

Again, this started because of a mis-graded wager and they thought i was trying to steal from them.

Here's how it went:
I had $30,000 in the account.  A wager is mis-graded for $3,000.  They want to void all bets after that mis-grade because they are saying that i didn't inform the sports team about the mis-grade.  The mis-grade was in bitcoin, and I withdrew and re-deposited back to bitcoin cash which is what I had been gambling in the whole time before this happened.  The bitcoin balance went negative and I did not notice.  Then they pull the USA KYC card.

Again, mis-grade for $3k, I had already been depositing and withdrawing large sums and had well over $25k in the account at the time of hte mis-grade.  it makes zero sense to void all bets after that over a mis-grade for 10% of account balance.

guys we need to stop bumping this thread and remove it from bitcointalk.  Cloudbet wants all communications to remain in this thread and not in the two scam accusation threads about removing cloudbet from bitcointalk and the $15,000 stolen thread

$15,000 freerolled/stolen in deposits from Efxes by Cloudbet (waits for deposits of winning account and freerolls it, steals it when not lost)

ban US customers?  of course not.  They accept thousands of US customer deposits every month most likely.  It is rare that one wins, and when they do, they ensure they are not paid even their deposits back because they are entitled steal from anyone and everyone they wish due to their anonymity.

Oh, so they're still scamming people with that. I'm surprised Cloudbet is allowed a thread of its own here at all tbh. I remember calling them out for banning VPN users. That's not cool yo

4. In this particular case, the customer has already withdrawn more than the sum of their deposits and accordingly we consider the matter closed. If the player offers their consent, we can gladly share transaction hashes of all relevant transactions.
So you are saying that his previous withdrawals (deposits + winnings) is more than his total deposits that's why you feel entitled to claim his latest deposit?

When did you find out that he was violating your ToS btw? You could have blocked his account at that moment. Did you also intentionally waited the customer to deposit 74 BCH before freezing his account as @efxes claims here?

Have you guys considered arbitration out of court to get these issues resolved? I mean, it's their choice to refuse USA customers, but Cloudbet has been involved in some dodgy practices in the past and there's only one way to get accountability

Thank you for your attempt at resolving this situation but you really should have responded far sooner since you have all the evidence and would not have taken steps such as blocking funds being withdrawn unless you had already collated it.

This episode has been an absolute PR disaster for Cloudbet.

With you saying that efxes has already withdrawn more than he deposited therefore you deem the matter closed - this point of view most definitely does have some merit but it does not cover all bases and does not go far enough. This is the same loop that other game players at Cloudbet have already been stuck in and if Cloudbet does not change the way it operates and uses their ToS to effectively steal funds then there will not be much reputation left.

If for example efxes deposited a total 499 BCH then gambled all of it and lost, then deposited a further 1 BCH to gamble but he was denied because it triggered a security alert, would you reimburse the full 500 BCH? Of course you would not do it so it is clear you are using the ToS as leverage to do what you want.

Though there are several ways in which this could be resolved and mutually settled I agree with Hhampuz - you should return his most recent deposit and then do that with all cases in future that have a similar back story.

Hi all -

Firstly, please accept our apologies for the delay in response and thank you to all - especially the senior members of the community - for your patience while we collated all of the relevant facts so that we could respond extremely accurately.

A comment on @efxes's case from Cloudbet.

1. Cloudbet does not accept players from USA. If USA players attempt to create an account, they see a clear message that their jurisdiction is prohibited.

2. If a player is found to be circumventing our automated checks and connects from a prohibited jurisdiction (such as USA), their account is immediately frozen pending an investigation. In this case, the player in question knowingly and deliberately circumvented our location checks, and was discovered and confirmed to be located in USA. They provided both ID and address proof from USA and also repeatedly attempted to login from USA IP addresses.

That the player is located in the USA is without doubt, and we prohibit all players from USA. That they knowingly and deliberately circumvented our country checks is also without doubt.

3. In accordance with our T&Cs, in these situations we reserve the right to void all bets and return their account balance, up to the sum of their deposits. Furthermore, we reserve the right to confiscate funds in certain cases (such as repeat offenders). We did not confiscate any funds in this case, but instead voided all bets.

4. In this particular case, the customer has already withdrawn more than the sum of their deposits and accordingly we consider the matter closed. If the player offers their consent, we can gladly share transaction hashes of all relevant transactions.

5. Additionally, the player is sharing information and making claims in public web forums (such as this one) that they know to be untrue. For example, the player claims they have provided us with address proof outside of the USA which is untrue. The player has also made other untrue claims - such as the size of their deposits.

6. We continue to have a duty of privacy to the player, so cannot publish information we have that directly contradicts their claims without the player's explicit consent. We can, however, share this with our regulator, or an arbiter with the player's consent. Additionally, if the player would like to consent to us sharing this information with select senior members of the community, we would be happy to do so.

7. If the player wishes to continue their claim, we strongly encourage the player to take their case to either Curacao eGaming or AskGamblers.com, either of whom will act as an arbiter. We agree to be bound by any ruling they make in this case.

Fellow members - we know the player is creating a lot of noise about this case, and we treat every claim of this nature seriously, but in this situation, the player knowingly tried to circumvent our rules, was caught, has already withdrawn more than their deposit, and is providing false information in public. We ask for the community's support to dismiss these false claims by the player.

Thanks

Team Cloudbet

Easiest solution is to enforce KYC to all new and old players and you won't have problem with someone playing from restricted areas. But if you do that, you will lose lots players and you just don't want to do that, right? It is much easier to selectively scam someone.

They're trying to alienate the one player who filed the original complaints on reddit, as if it were an issue with that specific person. However, there are many players who have issues with Cloudbet. I don't even know that one poster's name, there's many people who have issues with Cloudbet.

Jolly good, hampuz I appreciate you guys pulling for me and trying to negotiate but for me it is non negotiable. I should be owed what I deposited that day and went to withdraw. I did not deposit 74bch all back to back to back and lose it all. I was adding on.

Should be since the last cashout. If you think about it, when they process your withdrawal, everything is reset. From then on when you are depositing them they are continuing to accept your action.

I’m sorry but you know what you owe me what I deposited in that day it’s absurd. I deposit 74bch back to back to back all af the same time then go to cash out 67 bch because that’s how the chips fell. How can I accept anything less than all my deposits back or the cashout requested. There’s no middle ground ethically for me. I’m sorry.

Hey guys I just summed up the story quite well on twoplustwo and SBRforum.  Here's a link to the article on cloudbetscamsDOTCOM's site: https://cloudbetscams.com/the-entire-efxes-15000-story-as-it-happened-cloudbet-scamming-again/

And here is the article explaining the entire story from first deposit of the week long run to the last 5 deposits in the same day, that I cashed out slightly less than and are owed to me and I won't accept anything less than the balance minus the negative balance and it needs to be done now.  to have this drag on while BTC is rising is criminal.  Here is the story:

I appreciate you and appreciate this feedback. I've posted about this on so many darn sites, it's hard to keep up with the entirety of the story. I need to sum it up in an article, and i will do that but since I really value SBRForum and I am legit an OG here I've been here forever and I love the place and have always loved the people we love to gamble we love to bet and talk sports. Let me go ahead and share with you every minor step of the way.

I deposited $1,300 to this site on September 17, 2020. A 1 BCH deposit, a 2 BCH deposit, and a 3 BCH deposit

1.25BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...dca4184b3c6d48

2BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...efc760583f4f03

3BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/transaction/851d956cf13da2de7cf09a1394bcaf7508a71034 4ff678329f51768902280147

I then requested a 6.7 BCH cashout
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...00e49070c04d8b

and a 17.7 BCH cashout
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...5e0db6bd854528

From then, I started depositing back BCH, withdrawing out BCH, and continuing a run up to the moon.

At some point I went on tilt, withdrew everything, transferred it back into BTC, and deposited back some into Nitrogen Sports and some into Cloudbet. In Cloudbet, there was a mis-grade on a BTC bet. I had about $30,000 in Cloudbet, like 3 BTC. The mis-grade was for .26. I continued betting and lost some, and cashed out 2.6 BTC.

I didn't realize the mis-grade was Benoit Paire retiring in the 2nd set was a push instead of a loss. I thought tennis is graded differently in different places so I legit thought it was normal. So I cashed out the BTC after some other bets, total of maybe 2.6 or more. I then turned it back into BCH as you can see me receiving it here:

124 BCH received from transferring back from bitcoin
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...552e26b870ce2d

I then deposit back into my account the BCH in one day, adding on and adding on and adding on to my BCH balance (not because I was losing the entire balance I was just adding on to bets that day, all in less than 8 hours I was just adding onto my balance).

Those final deposits the final day can be found here:

24 BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...2f068d6200ac5c

20 BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...3668434f432a83

16 BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...8eb8f3b9a054b1

3 BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...d5bace3f63f8aa

11 BCH
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/...b10eee1f5763d3

So I deposit 74 BCH since my last cashout maybe something like that. Not sure how that went down but I may have deposited more since my last cashout but THAT DAY I deposited 74 BCH. I went to withdraw 67 BCH just a few hours later, and I noticed there was a negative balance in the BTC. I went to withdraw the 67 BCH remaining in the account looking at the negative -.26 btc balance I figured they'd just take it out of the BCH balance because it was their error they mis-graded the Benoit Paire match after all with the retire in the 2nd set.

Then I receive this:

Then I send in a ton of documents, using my USA permanent residency I sent in an expired internet bill since I haven't been back there in months and have been in Mexico is the story. Regardless, I deposited 74 BCH and they think I was stealing because of their stupid BTC error, I even deposited $20,000 after they mis-graded the wager, what the heck is wrong with them? Then they sent me this:

I contacted Cloudbet account on Bitcointalk where they have prominent marketing in the bitcoin space where they tend to gain a lot of credibility so they can steal bitcoin and other crypto from the community countless times over. Here's what Cloudbet had to say on bitcointalk personal message:

Hello there, efxes,

I'm sorry to hear, that you've been having some difficulties with your account.

I have followed up on the matter with the Sports and Player Safety team now, and I can provide you with accurate information now.

The relevant team confirm, that the negative balance on your account was due to some bets that were graded as pushed incorrectly although they should have been settled as losses.

Once the bets were graded, you have withdrawn the funds that were incorrectly credited to you, thus the balance became negative as soon as these bets have been regraded accordingly.

Regardless of the negative BTC balance, you continued playing on our website using BCH, without informing our support team or crediting the funds back to your account, thus documentation was requested to verify the account.

Our Player Safety team confirmed, that they have verified your account and emailed you accordingly now, but I'm afraid as you have breached our Terms & Conditions by registering from a prohibited jurisdiction, you will not be able to continue playing on the site in the future.

In this particular email, you are stating that you've also had an account created before you started using this specific account, which means you have breached not one, but two of our terms, thus your account must remain closed, unfortunately.

Thanks for your understanding.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Best regards,
Team Cloudbet

So there you have it. As for the other account it's not true. They love to pull that card. I said I might have had an account a few years ago trying out the site but I couldn't remember the email.

They just want to steal the money.

We just do not understand why Cloudbet are ruining their reputation with these types of selective scamming.

Now Cloudbet have to face these two problems and maybe more will follow from other people claiming to be victims:

......That's why I am making this site using information from Efxes case and a number of other scam cases .  Cloudbet thinks the community can sweep these scams under the rug.

https://cloudbetscams.com
Hehe. Sorry for finding the video on the site funny. I'm not laughing at what happened to Efxes funds but the behind the scenes story line among Cloudbet's employees. The site needs more clicks and views. I just checked where it currently ranks when I search for Cloudbet on Google and it's not even on the first page.

.....

This is the best argument to Cloudbet's recent statement so far.

4. In this particular case, the customer has already withdrawn more than the sum of their deposits...

Wouldn't it have been easier if you had come to say that you have already returned @efxes' deposit and closed this case? this is not leading to a good path, your reputation is being destroyed because of $15,000 and @efxes has to post a lot of things here on the forum to claim his money, it is not fair to do that with him. this history of the negative balance will only drag the problem for a long time. I used your site in the past and I had no problems and I expected you to be more understanding and return the money from @efxes and close this case. The longer this case takes to resolve the greater damage your reputation will have

the player claims they have provided us with address proof outside of the USA which is untrue.

skip that part and return his money and never let him use your site again, that would be the best option

Now Cloudbet have to face these two problems and maybe more will follow from other people claiming to be victims:

---------------------------

I wonder who are the cloudbet marketing manager that is not seeing that not solving this problem will only make people dig more cases like these and will destroy the reputation of cloudbet e and I saw this 23 minute video and I must admit the following:

if it were in court and there was this guy who made this video, the judge and cloudbet, I think this guy who made this video would have literally crushed cloudbet in court. this type of video goes viral can be a problem for cloudbet, I don't know why they don't return money from @efxes and close this case

It's because they have been getting away with this so long.  The guy who made the video above is a genius and a warrior for the bitcoin wagering community.  The fact that he made this video 4 months ago and people still are depositing to this site is telling. Bitcointalk needs to take action against Cloudbet if they continue to not pay out Efxes and other people they are scamming that is coming to light.

He made this video 4 months ago warning people about Cloudbet!  But clearly more will need to be done to fight them stealing from the bitcoin community.

And then he made this video:

Announcing that with immediate effect, Cloudbet is no longer available on BTCGOSU: https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/cloudbet-removed-on-btcgosu-due-to-open-scam-accusation/

@Cloudbet Just like other reputable members (Hhampuz, Jollygood etc.) have already stated, I do not understand the way you are handling this case - I didn't expect that from you and if there is more to it, feel free to get in touch. Otherwise I will not only never promote you again but shortly also support the flag, add you to my Blacklist and help players by preventing them from signing up on your site.

For those of you interested, there's a clear owner of the site and their cronies attacking me at SBRforum where they obviously have shill accounts lined up for days soliciting deposits from USA players.

They're making it an all out war over at SBRforum (Sportsbookreview forum), it's like the last f'ing stand.  Take a look at Red Apples and a few of the other people attacking me there.
