People keep asking me about how to clone Nxt. While I support clones as a way to make the world better, I can't reveal all details regarding traps inside Nxt code. Anyway, my conscience lets me to give such hints:

1. The traps r still included into current NRS version (0.5.10), Jean-Luc doesn't know what these traps r, so he is unable to give u more info.
2. We r 100% safe coz Nxt blockchain can't be attacked by someone exploiting these traps.
3. BCNext or me won't attack clones by using the traps, but someone else could do it, I already detected an attempt to attack Nxt such the way.
4. A 100% safe way to clone Nxt is to fork the blockchain starting from current block.
5. A 99% safe way to clone Nxt with another genesis blocks is to rewrite code related to crypto completely.
6. Another way to safely clone Nxt code is to find the traps and disable them, analysis of the genesis block could help u a little.

Aye. In 6-9 months we will compete with Doge for the 1st place, not with Bitcoin.

Question! Do these traps earn us 100k 3rd flaw bounty?

If I answer this question then u will know that 3rd flaw is related/non-related to crypto part.

weekend sell of on bter?

Remember the 0.00007 test we were talking about the other day?  It seems it is about to test that level again.

So... if it breaks it on the downside... there will be support at 0.000064... and/or as low as 0.00004.

On the flip-side... look for resistance at 0.00009... and then at 0.00011... before we get a new High.

Thank you!! Smiley

is there an exchange API call to give back assetID based on asset name?

No.

can we have one? please  Roll Eyes

So many API request requests... Is there a complete list what u guys need?

well I don't think anyone created a list but I don't see how we can do it without having at least
- an API call by passing an account id shows all the assets owned by the account
- an API call by passing an asset id to show all bid_ask orders so we can build order book.
- an API call by passing asset name to give back assetID

U should create a thread to discuss APIs, some API calls could be merged into more universal ones.

yes, I think that would be helpful!!

what about this one:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=406839.msg4681880#msg4681880

don't know - lets just use the exisiting one for now, it is not very long yet anyway.

but quite low activity - don't know where they are, all honing their clients maybe?!?!

And Ethereum?

I don't count non-launched coins. Things may go such a way that Lakshmi will become number 1.

Ethereum would need to compete head-to-head with NEM so I don't know

Here come a litter self-promotion NEM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422129.0 and NEM discussion thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426303.0

You might be surprised how NEM is going to turn out  Smiley
