Update 10 - Bitcoin Conference Miami

eB101 arrived early this morning, we're walking around... shaking hands and make final Nxt pitches at the conference. Had an opportunity to talk with the guys over a Bitshares, we talked about everything ranging from PoS to encouraging communities to continue to be extremely civil and educating people that either misunderstand (intentionally or not so intentionally) PoS and next gen systems.  It was a great contact, we are eager to build relationships with other innovators in the space.

Btw, we just got out of the Entherium speech, interesting ideas. 2014 will certainly be the year of smart contracts/property.

were the guys "from" dogcoin there?

Focusing more on the green angle of NXT.

Please focus on energy conservation (which should be dictated by common logic) WITHOUT building the argument around Global Warming.

I would even say energy COST should be the focus.  Current energy costs makes Bitcoin mining marginally profitable at best when you run the numbers, while NXT on a Raspberry Pi runs at 25 nodes for the same power as a 100 W incandescent lightbulb.  

Also focus on the transparent forging, the 10000tps. It will be the true innovation of NXT and change the world.

These won't work. They are easily defeated by splitting your wealth over several accounts.

May seem to on the first glance. But you have to pay fees in order to do so; which is a good thing for the whole Nxt community.

We need design a system for average joes, not only for geeks. Do you know what is the most popular password in this world? It is something like 1234password. We have to enforce the safest pass phrase format in the client when users set up their accounts. Period!

The clients will come out, they get better, more secure. It will work.
