Like I said... anyone who has done a simple faucet knows how to do payment processing. I guess I'll work on it, but I have a crapload of other things I need to do. Would be nice if I could do those things while someone does a basic script, and then I can bust out some real CENT uses in no time.

I wish I could help Sad Will try to contact some ppl tomorrow.

Anyways, there's a good post @ cryptocointalk about CENTs - it's one of the most scarce coins! Here's a link:

https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/975-pennies-cent-information/page-5

Repost:

As you may know, PENNIES / CENT are not dividable to 8 decimal places like the majority of ALT currencies. One coin is one coin.
Compared to the abundance of most coins when divided into satoshi's, CENT coin is scarce. Even compared to Bit coin.

The approximate ratio of CENT/BTC coin cap, if CENT had satoshi's would be as follows:
418,356 CENT coins compared to Bit coin's cap of 21,000,000 BTC (Please check out the calculations below). Simplified to:

1.00000000 CENT to every 50.00000000 BTC in existence.

To sum up, if CENT was divisible to 8 decimal places there would only be approx 418,356 CENT coins in existence! Divisibility wise it is 50 times more scarce than Bit coin.

Calculation:

CENT coin cap = 41,835,649,197,243 CENT
(CENT COIN CAP * SATOSHI)
41835649197243 * 0.00000001 = 418356.49200000 CENT

---

Guess what, say all you want that it's worth nothing! I'm going to keep my CENTs up until it reaches reasonable price. OR until bitcoin starts to be valued in CENTs Cheesy

For sure many people didnt know about it. Let is go to the moon Smiley I spend all my money to buy CENT. It will explode one day Smiley

BIGGER BUY ORDER AT @3 XPM = MORE PEOPLE WANT TO BUY CENT AT @4 XPM Smiley

When someone will start buying at @4 xpm many cents and people will see it , they will join and it will disapear very fast Wink
Of Course CENT will move up too Moon
I am holding my Cent's since 17 to all the way dowm 1
My average price now is almost 5-6 XPM Satoshi but i am not going to sell them untill Cent will make me atleast 100K
Grin Grin Grin
Don't  Grin please I know that will happen.

yes you should keep it .
I think CENT will be expensive!

Wath, you guys think, Cent, would be worth in 1 year term?

It really depends on where the Bitcoin is going, but I would say this is possible:

You would have to take the price of primecoin * the highest historic price of CENT in xpm =

$3 * 0.00000072 = 0.00000216
Price for one billion would be : $2160
This price would obviously change if the value of primecoin rises with the bitcoin level.
(Price at 1Nanoprime for 1 bn bitcoins = $3 * 0.00000001 = $30)

You're miscounting the zeros (not strange with so many Smiley

We're somewhere between 39 trillion and 42 trillion. It depends on the version you're on. We'll probably know in a while. Smiley

Any idea on how I may resolve that issue? I've had varying wallets 10/10.2/10.2abe etc etc   I havent actually transferred any coins since before 29th Dec - so if i end up losing some staked coins thats no big hassle really.

but how would i go about getting myself on to the right fork? (I have already redownloaded the entire block chain on each wallet - those remaining 8000 odd blocks are whats left from the last time i redownloaded >.< 2 days ago)

Download the blocks I uploaded, the archive has been updated daily and is currently no more than 24 hours behind:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_GOSqs6Iq2MTVZNMUVBT0NlQ0U/edit?pli=1

I'll update it again but it'll probably take a couple of hours for me to to upload a new version of the archive.

Quote
ooh additional also! the current block height on the block explorer is 272,158  estimated blocks on my wallet is currently 271,969 (i opened up about 7 hours ago) - would this not suggest im on the correct fork or have i completely got my understanding of the forks wrong? also how would i end up creating my own fork! lol ima confused :-)

Perhaps you started staking before your client was in sync so you create a stake block upon an old block and continue to build that chain yourself. Before you know it you've created your own fork which you yourself are verifying with each new stake block.

It's best to encrypt your wallet to ensure it can get fully in sync before allowing it to stake. You can unlock it once you're synced by going to Command Line Banking and entering:
Code:
walletpassphrase YourPassword TimeToUnlockWalletForInSeconds

Ahhhh thanks! I did try with your previous upload on another wallet, but ended up getting an error which caused it to crash. So i thought instead of bugging you (im sure you're getting alot of hassle - those that try to help tend too! so sorry if im annoying )  I thought i'd try the good old method of redownloading everything! - when im all back up on the right fork there'll be a small reward winging its was too you :-)  (so please do pm me your cryptsy key {I currently have 3.5bil on there so can send over a chunk that are definately on the correct fork {well the cryptsy fork})

I did wonder why it was managing to stake them so quickly (pre 8th fix they did take a while!)

I'll try again with the freshly uploaded versions when they get there.

thanks again for the help (send me your cryptsy trade key! :-) )

You should download this chain and replace the one in the appdata folder (hidden folder on your computer)

Yeah, they're piling up on XPMs to buy everything, i'd say up to 5. It can go through the roof any moment.

EDIT: I think one guy (big player) which bought s#$tloads of CENT @ 1 XPM sold part of his earnings @ 3-4 level, and now tries to lower the price to 2 XPM (there he has his buy order). Unfortunately, the market decided for him - it HAS TO go higher, pressure @ 3 XPM is just to low. So either he sells everyting @ 3 or maybe he just have to let it go and wait for higher levels?

For some people 300% profit is just not enough... Jeeez...

Concerning the moneysupply, I've been keeping rather close track of it.  In the past ten days, nearly 2 trillion coins were minted.

If 40 trillion coins were all in wallets, and the stake was 0.1%, it would only produce 40 billion every stake period of 7-9 days.

The thing is, my Pennies are indeed staking at 0.1% since the update on the 8th.  Where are all of the other Pennies coming from, or going?

I had a hard time inserting a table here, but if you want to see the data, I posted it here

Maybe it's a delay of some sort? Wish Catman would explain that to us.
