Hello

1-8 are located on the blade closest to the power supply, 9-16 are the blade most distant from the power supply.  There are four cards on each blade, with two rows of chips.  Number 11 is the 2nd card, 1st row away from the blade power connection.  It is most likely a blown fuse on the top left of the card.  You can test it with a volt meter.

Mtnminer

5 and 14 are slow, but still working.  They probably were not seated perfectly and when they were soldered a pin/connection was missed or they could be imperfect ships.  It should be stable as they are and not degrade more as long as you don't have any fuses go!

Mtnminer

It's up to you Smiley
Daily average depends on pool's luck... it can be 0.07 Smiley

Another question... is this ok count 5 and count 14?
11 is dead, I know Smiley

Thank you so much!!!
All fuses are OK...
This module probably "blocked/freezed" power supply... I lost all fans... After restart, I've noticed that module 11 is 0... after some time moves from 0 to 50, 60, 100... etc... but not much Sad

My miner just stopped working today.

Temp1,Temp2 is 0 degree C. I removed the temp sensor before.

Avg Hash is always 0 too.

Is anyone get same problem like me?

Same thing happened to mine today.  Red Hashing light on bootup.  Find an solution?

I was running them with two 750W Gold PS with single 60A rails.

Is this a PS problem now or is the unit recoverable?

WELL this sucks.  I just got home to a dead unit that smells like it burnt itsself to a crisp!  Power supplies were CORSAIR TX750 units that run all my ANTMINERS.  Power draw was 900W last I tested (stock mhz).   I had not touched the config of the BTMINE unit (default software) besides setting the pool.  BOX WAS STILL RUNNING WITH NO FANS AND BURNT MY HAND TO THE TOUCH!  FIRE HAZARD!  Both power supplies power on and operate the tplink.

Box is cooling off now, took off the cover and will see what happened soon - modules too hot to touch still!   Sad

UPDATE - BOTH POWER SUPPLIES OPERATE JUST FINE when not connected to the BTMINE box.  Soon as I plug them in and turn it on with NO modules hooked up I get power for a couple seconds (fans spin up) then NOTHING.  Power supply protection circuit kicks in.  So looks like it has to be controller or power distribution board?  Still toying   Sad

For the record I've owned over a dozen Avalons and never had an issue.  This box yesterday for the first time dropped to 40GH for a bit (no reason) historically cgminer reported uptimes of about 3 days and about 2% HW errors... bummer!

When you say that the power supply protection circuit kicks in - is that the indicated by the red hashing LED?  I noticed my unit stopped hashing today and now has a red hashing LED upon bootup.  Both PSs power up and tplink works like yours, no hashing though...

I would say, yes they are recoverable.  Power supplies with 60 amp rail is at the least minimum.  I would get a power supply tester and test both.  Go over all your circuits with a volt meter and be sure you are getting power where it should be, check for any shorts.

If you can not find the issue, If you are in the states, you have the option of shipping it too me and I will test, service and repair it for you and return for a very reasonable rate or in exchange for mining time.  I am open to different options.

Now almost a month later, I still have no working tracking number, they won't reply to emails and no ASIC's in hand.

Has anybody heard from them since Chinese New Year?

You won't hear from them until next monday for sure.
Chinese New Year is the biggest holidays here in China, and the only few days in a year they don't work ;-)

Thank you for posting you power supply pictures.  Your unit is using a different power supply the our BTmine units, who manufactured yours and how is the quality?  Can you post more images of your Avalon clone.

Thank you

to be honest I am shocked at the power supplies BTMine have used here. I have bought over 20 of these from China and all have come with Great Wall 1050 Watt power supplies, they draw 840W at 1300 so why they sent those power supplies is a mystery.

I can vouch for the great wall power supplies they provide ample, regular power and none have popped on me.

Most of them do not come set to 192.168.0.100 - that would only be the address you'd expect if you had reset the TPLink board.  Somewhere on your machine it should have an ip address that corresponds to your unit.  Mine was 192.168.1.204 written almost illegibly on the case.  ;-)

But if you already knew that, then you have to make sure of a few more things - first, the computer you're connecting from has to be on the same subnet (192.168.0.x in your example).  second, your computer has to have its own address on that subnet, ideally not the router (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.254), and it's easiest if you have it static.  last, your gateway has to be correct (mine was 192.168.1.1, yours might be 192.168.0.1 if you run on the 192.168.0.x subnet).

Lastly, it doesn't work on wifi out of the box - you have to connect to it via a wired connection at first, and even then, you have to make sure you set up wireless perfectly or it won't connect (and you have to change firewall settings if you want to get to the web configuration via wireless).  I recommend not using the builtin wireless since it's very weak and flaky, leading to lost hashrate.

Beyond that, it's hard to tell - we'd need a whole lot more information about what you've done so far, how you're trying to connect, and what your network settings are.

I would like to see what is broken. If you were to sell it how much would you want?

I'm bringing it to an engineer tomorrow or Monday to replace the lost caps.  I'll take a picture when I do.

As for a price I haven't thought about it bc I'm hoping I can fix it.

I got my refund through a paypal claim
