My later order of three units, was updated "Departed Facility in HONG KONG - HONG KONG" My first order still appears stuck "Shipment information received" Strange? Mtnminer Update on my orders, I am in the U.S. I paid for all with bitcoin
My order on the 10th of two units was "Shipping Information Received DHL" 1/21/2014
No new information this morning?
My order on the 14th of three units was "Shipping Information Received DHL" 1/23/2014
"Picked up DHL" 1/23/2014
So my last order is on the move before my first order is showing on the move? It does not
make sense, but I will be glad to get all five units here very soon, unpack, trouble shoot,
repair and get to hashing!
I'm suspecting that the status 'Shipping Information Received DHL' means that they just created the doc with the needed info (name, adress, ...) but didn't give yet to dhl the package. When you have "Picked up DHL" I think that in that case DHL received the package. So, but it is my opinion, I think than when we have still "Shipping Information Received DHL", it means DHL doesn't have yet our miners in hand. This is why it can take several days without update till they give it to DHL. So be carefull if you have a dispute opened to don't close it before that you have at least the status "Picked up DHL". |

So, has anyone with these btmine units actually gone up to 1600 MHz? I saw it was mentioned earlier, but I'm not sure it wasn't just suppostion, especially with other similar clones only running 1250 or 1300 MHz. Right now I'm happy with 1500 MHz running solid for 2 days straight. No high error rates or temps. But, if I'm throwing perfectly usable cycles on the floor, well, I'd rather not - comes from my SETI/BOINC/Prime days...  1600 OC stable but HW rate goes up to 10% and 1028w from wall.       1500 OC is the sweet spot 961w from wall. Under 4% HW error and hashrate stays around 230GH/s    I think it's very important to have good power supply. You will also save easy 100w electricity with it. 2x Stock PSU @1400 = 946w from wall. @210 GH/s -edit- Stock PSU settles to 999w after 1 hour2x Stock PSU @1500 = 1060w from wall and they will blow out at some point dont wanna try. 2x 1kw PSU @1500 = 961w from wall. @230 GH/s 2x 1kw PSU @1600 = 1028w from wall. @+230 GH/s 10% HW errors not worth it. For those who dont know PSU will perform better when not tortured full. So you will save 100-150w Electricity by getting good PSUs NEXT coming from Sikke: Watercooling 101 (i have watercooled CPUs from 1999. i put AMD Duron 700 --> 900Mhz)  That did the trick. But isnt this dangerous ? No overheat protection ? I have temp1 at 21° where does that come from as i have only one sensor...
This is for you. You can get the unit very silent  simple to install. 2x Stock PSU @1400 = 946w from wall. @210 GH/s

Perfect, thanks for sharing, sikke. I think I agree that 1600 doesn't seem worth it at that rate. I'll go ahead and try mine and see if I might have a "luckier" system (probably not, given my luck). I'll also try 1550 if I can get it to take that. I did do a little --avalon-auto this morning and it seemed to alternate between 1450 and 1500, so I might have a shot. |

Received my last 7 units yesterday. They were in pretty bad shape. Some had fans that were installed backwards, some had capacitors that had fallen off, and one even had an extra circuit board that was just sitting there loose in the case. Two of the 14 died overnight and refuse to hash. I'll be taking them apart and trying a different PSU on them. About half of them reach ~220GH/s while the other half range from 150-190GH/s.  |

It looks like you have six electrical conduits coming down the back wall? Are you running 110v or 220v? How many machines do you have to a circuit and what are you breakers rated at? My --avalon-auto got stuck at 1499 in that unit and also 1550 didnt stay stable hashing. I'm pretty happy with 1500@230GH/s i will continue going trough refurbishing all my units to that spec. i still have work to do with fuses and so. i want to get all out from these. |

I will work around what I have currently to run mine on 110v, I order power splitter cables and have those in hand and ready. So 16 hours later I have gone through so many mood swings to the point that I have filed a dispute on paypal. As you may know my machine came damaged and I tried to make the best of it. it came with 3 dead modules. I was able to fix one permanently by re soldering the capacitor that fell off. As for the other two Its been nothing but a cup of anger all day with them. One has a damaged SMD P fuse that I just don't have the station to fix it with and the other one I got hashing briefly before it was just dead. The third one I just have no clue whats wrong with it I have looked at with over and over and I just cant see any signs of damage or bad soldered components. I got my machine hashing at 180g from 168g that I was hashing at yesterday. Not only am I dealing with dead modules I also discovered that one of them is only hashing at 50% which in return frustrates me even more. At this point I just rather ship it back and get my money back. Its just not worth the frustration as it feels like its falling apart. Sorted my units out now. An ATA33 IDE cable works as a replacement cable just fine.

By the way this is a 40-wire / 40-pin cable. I believe ATA100/133 cables have a blocked pin (#20) and would make the cable unusable. Trying to find an ATA33 cable in my town was nearly impossible. Best if you find an old nerd on local forums to have a look through their box of cables  |

Hi, this is a nice farm! What is your hashrate and how many BTC are you generating by day? Thanks! The 14 BTMine units are only hashing at 2.45TH/s cumulative and the KnC Jupiter is hashing at ~1TH/s (6-modules). I plan to take apart the under-performing BTMine units and see if I can fix them. I was hoping to have closer to 2.9TH/s with all 14. |

The other died seems to be a short on the PCB that takes out the old and NEW high end PSU on over current. 12volt to ground short.
Voltage regulator died? Cap would be open circuit right not short.
Red light is on
Glad I canceld the BTC units....
But at least they both hashed 200-220 for almost 24 hrs.
What a shame after waiting this long.....should have gone all Ants cant overclock em but they seem more reliable for cheap crap.
