ouch 0.35/kwh, and I thought 0.2 was high

Our base rate is 0.15/kwh I believe, but with all these miners, I'm pushed into tier 4, which is crazy expensive. Maybe I need to think about renting some data center space.

Holy cow I knew my 0.071/kwh was cheap but did not realize how cheap.

If you think we have expensive electricity, try paying $1.5m for a 1,500sqft cottage by the freeway.

Ok I had the wrong rate it is 0.073/kwh.  And it drops to 0.0573/kwh after 900 kwh/month. Grin

Your power DROPS after a certain quota? Insanity! Mine is 0.14, then 0.17, then .35, then .assrapage, and I always get to the final tier.

Must be in California Smiley I remember the days of PG&E...

I actually moved specifically for electricity and now enjoy rates under $0.02/kwh Smiley

miaviator Give the guy a break...

I can tell you first hand with dealing with companies in China the fortnight before Chinese new year IS their busy period as they have week long celebrations for New Year.

This year New Year is January 31 to February 6. At least the guy has been responding WHEN HE CAN.

Maybe you should contact the supplier direct OR have a little patience as at the end of the day arguing on the internet is like competing in the special Olympics.
You may win, but to us you'll always look retarded.

My hope is to get a refund or a miner before the 31'st.

Oh wow I thought that would be an easy date to hit.  What day did you order?  I ordered on the 7th back when they claimed "2-days" till shipping still and I've been told its in HK and should receive a tracking number today.  I expect to have a miner early next week.

So I was an "early" batch and here we are 7 days later with no firm details on shipping, but at least they are making noise like it's already moving inside China.  What day did you order?

Kind of like this thread, no interest for quite some time and then BAM tons of orders, I wonder what is actually going on over there... (face to face deals to buy current stock out from under paid-for orders like what Yifu did?)  I better get my tracking number within 24hrs or I may have to contact PayPal.

ANYWAY ENOUGH ABOUT DELAYS, if you didn't want a delay buy an ANT   Wink   ----------------------------------------------------

Back to important stuff.  So the "new" smaller design is much better from a size perspective, but now there is NO REAR HEATSINK?!!!  That will definitely lower maximum possible clocks.

And now they say "Do not overclock it ,overclocking may burn the PSU , if  overclocking damage the machine , We won't take responsibility for that !"

Well that is fine, as the PS they included was a DUAL RAIL design which is stupid to begin with in this case but if I put a QUALITY supply in there what kind of performance can I get?

Order placed on the 6th.

OP Stated "IN STOCK"

OP Stated shipping within 2 days.

Refund requested on the 13th and 14th (I believe the prior week as well)

Refund agreed to on the 13th, again on the 13th, and again on the 14th.

I have no tracking, no refund, and no miners, and 20+ less BTC.

You should proly start the dispute process with paypal just to get a headstart on things.

As far as Face to Face or "steal deals" go no.  The OP and an Agent clearly stated that they never had devices in stock and ready to ship, they stated the things they had in stock didn't work together so they had to get new "parts" to finish "testing" their "In stock ready to ship" miners.

OP IS A

Dear clients,

BTMine has recommended I ask you about your refunds.

Who received a refund?

Anyone?
If you hadn't been so busy playing the squeaky wheel, you'd have noticed that several folks have gotten refunds.  Maybe some reading interspersed with your slinging...

Doing your work for you, here's two within the last 24 hours:

I was given a refund on my last 2 units I was put on delay for.  I have 4 units from them total now.  All are up and operational and currently mining very well.  I am running no overclocking on any of the units right now because they all came online last night and are 15 minutes away at my shop since it's got cooling for our hang out area that's a bit overkill ... 800 sqft and a 3 ton unit.

.....

The people at BTMiner and I talked and the refund was released (PayPal) instantly.

miaviator ... Now I've read some of your post and I am glad you are trying to help others from being scammed (or on what seems like permanent wait) because you lost $20k to Butterfly Labs?  Stuff like that is appreciated for you to try and help people, but some of your post are just over the top.  Before you try to tell me I don't understand that kind of money you should keep in mind until a few months ago I held the record for watercooled 02+ Porsche Turbos in mph in the 1/4 and watercool 6speed 60-130s so I've had times where even though things came through I was out 30-40k for 9-10 months.  That's just for the motor LOL!  Same with our X275 cars, etc...  But do you see me jumping in every thread on 6speed or ls1tech trying to scare people even though a product exist then spouting random shit because the BTMiner crew English isn't the best (and no offense to you all at BTMine).  So chill out bro.

I had my 2 delayed ones refunded via paypal as well. Keeping the ones I ordered via BTC for now. Took less than 5 minutes.
