The port should be 8332 not 8337 and your worker name should be your <email address>_<worker name> such as XXXX@GMail.com_Jalapenos or whatever your email is and the worker name you created.

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

Yes, port name should be 8332, also you should use pit.deepbit.net instead of deepbit.net

A block hasn't been found in the last 9 hours by Deepbit? Maybe?

so based upon that, is it a good assumption that deepbit is dead?

Why would that be a good assumption?

There are several medium sized pools that go over 9 or even 24 hours between rounds at this difficulty.  If you don't like that then you can switch to Deepbits PPS which has a 10% fee but you won't have to wait till a block gets solved to get your revenue.

No.

Adding a leading zero just helps with sorting the table.

I switched to another pool when I posted that.  This am, I found an extra 0.01 BTC in my deepbit profile.  Do you think deepbit has the lowest fees?  I'm using btcmp right now.  The rewards pop up instantly so I guess it's more gratifying.  What do you think?  I've tried to look at the pool comparison wiki, but I get confused.  Thanks!

Deepbit doesn't have the lowest fees.  But it is a very mature and stable pool.  There are considerations beside fee to look at.

It looks like Deepbit has been changing difficulties between the last difficulty and the current one.

I ran a little 24 hr test.  With 6 Block Erupters, I got 0.065 BTC with btcmp.  With deepbit, I got 0.025.

24 hours of testing isn't even close to enough, especially when evaluating a smaller pool (which Deepbit would be classified as these days).  It takes -months- for variance to level out on a small pool, and you can end up way ahead or way behind at any point in time.

Hiya guys recently moved my 4 miners to Deepbit but i have a problem i hope someone can help solve as for me its a big issue. Half the time i control my Miners in the summer via remote desktop from my PC and also my iPhone. But where the problem comes in when switching to this pool is the app i have called BTCmon that usually shows the speed of each miner on other pools but for some reason it only shows miners running or not. The reason this is such a big deal is i push all my 7970's as far as they can go and every now and then a driver will crash and i can instantly tell using BTCmon then remote access real fast ,reboot and start mining again. I currently have 8 cards running so depending on temp changes etc 1 can drop at any time.

Now i explained my problem is there anything i can do or use to monitor my miners besides just knowing they are on as this can make or break me staying with deepbit which i am starting to rather enjoy although i do wish it was merged with NMC also but cant win them all.

 Please help

 Thanks MybadOmen

Sounds to me like you need to contact the author of your app so that you can see the hashrate.

Also you can enable email notifications for your workers when they are down.

Hello. Our API is providing good amount of information about running workers so I can recommend you asking the author of your monitoring software about this.
I know that most monitoring programs support Deepbit correctly, but never tried that one, sorry.

Anyone having trouble logging into website? Login page loads for me, but after entering username/pass I get a 502 bad gateway error

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

The problem still persists or it was just a short interruption ?
