It's POST fee.
The PPS fee is 10%.
It's currently 0.00002531254692628 per share @ Difficulty 1777774.4820015.

So, to be clear....  0.00002531254692628 is the POST FEE (FINAL) Rate currently ?
OR...
With the 10% Fee, Is it 0.00002531254692628 x 0.90 = RATE per Share ?

I don't understand why a PPS Pool even needs to advertise their Fee, other than to confuse users and give other Pool operators marketing ammunition (as some other Pool operators do, when comparing to Deepbit).

Why can't it be as simple as "0.0X0X0X0X0X0X multiplied by Your Shares = your Payout"

Correct.

Because [Tycho] is being upfront.  There's a 10% fee for PPS.  As for the 'marketing ammunition', there's other PPS pools available to everyone that have lower fees and do compare to DeepBit's fees... Yet it is still the largest pool and there is a reason why.

Why can't it be as simple as "0.0X0X0X0X0X0X multiplied by Your Shares = your Payout"

It *IS* with the PPS rate I just gave you and you quoted, which is always available and updated on the DeepBit website.

Cheers,
Kermee

It's definitely the largest however I'm wondering what the reason why is? I'm not asking simply to cause trouble but I am wondering the reasons because using Deppbit and other pools with a fairly large hash rate has given me some perspective and I'm interested in hearing yours.

Maybe, because he can?

Why is it that every time my miner goes down, theres a string of short blocks?? This pool must have something against me.

Your miners must be synced with mine.  I was on Slush' pool until yesterday (previously on Deepbit and BTCGuild).  I had a couple of troublesome machines.  Regardless of the pool the machine would always got down before a string of 1 min blocks (usually when I'm sleeping).  I would fix it in the morning only to then get hit with a 10 or 15 million block  Angry   Eh but such is life - at least I have a nice wife and kids  Grin

In a nutshell, it has had the least issues dealing with DDoS'es in the past because [Tycho] is generally on top of things and it's an extremely stable pool at all other times.  Plus the fact that for 'Proportional' users have generally very steady payouts.

I had noticed that too.  It's really annoying.  Didn't realize how much I used that link till now.

Fixed. Thanks for your report.

Approx. 2 hours ago ~5% of pool's users possibly experienced some connection issues, sorry about this.

front website needs to be updated on the pay per share...  ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!

Quote
We pay a competitive price:
Pay per share: 0.00002531254692628 BTC per every submitted share
Proportional: your part of every solved block less 3% fee

compared to the advertized forum ratio:

Quote
EDIT: Now you can try some new exciting feature - optional Pay-Per-Share mode is enabled in my pool. You can choose payments method for any of your workers, look at your account page for workers configuration. Current rate is 0.00003262705594458 BTC per share.

There was a delay, but it should be cleared already.
Check it again and if it's still not there, PM me your TX hash.

What in the world happened with the last round on the stats page?

08.09 13:37:29   0h 04m     0   699     None

4 minutes and only 699 shares.. and I did not get one with 2.4 gh/s running?

curious that.

Hmm... looks strange. Have you experienced any connection problems or "miner idle" messages during that timespan ?

The pool had some difficulties 110+ minutes ago, but time doesn't match.

don't question my amount of shares.. question why the pool as a whole only had 699 shares on a 4 minute block...

that is the really odd thing I was thinking of. maybe that is the pool problem you were speaking of 110 minutes ago?

just look at your stats page to see what i mean. 4 minutes on deepbit always have a lot more shares then that.
