Just followed tried these settings.. - http://redd.it/1z93t9  still unable to run my sapphire 280X to mine.
getting HW error all over, even after I managed to use TC 16384..
got a system with win 8.1 32bit 4gb driver 14.1, 8 32bit 4gb driver 13.11, 8.1 64bit 8gb driver 13.12 (gigabyte 280x),  0 success.

Paying 200UTC for the one that will find me a solution for my systems.

32bit systems are gonna be a problem as they cannot even fully use 4gb.

I am not sure why you listed 3 different systems, you have 3 pcs or just tried them one by one(reinstalled)?

If you still have that 64 bit with 8gb just use tc 16384 with intensity 12 and drop by one if it gives you hw. clear any bins you have in cgminer folder and any bins you have in /user folder. Run on stock mhz first.

My rigs are 32bit 4g, but I'm also unable to run it on a 64bit with 8gb.
i 12 , TC 16383, stock. also tried --lookup-gap 3.   no luck on both systems (32/64).
its a fresh 8.1 install, downloaded ultracoinminer from ultracoin.net ,  n old bins, using cgwatcher, driver 13.12.

edit: also, after applying setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PRECENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1  I even unable to run my old setting TC 8192 i 11 ... also started getting HW errors. omfg..

For 280x

timeout /t 30
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://ultra.nitro.org:3337 -u xxx -p xxx --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://utc.greekpool.eu:3337 -u xxx -p xxx --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 11 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --lookup-gap 1 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-threads 2 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --auto-fan --gpu-fan 80
pause

i know u said u have 280x, but tc seems low. had to use 25384 for TC for my 270x. try 24000-28000, -g 2, I 18 (12 for testing), lookup gap 2. ur clocks won't be same as mine. hope it helps.

So the only thing that comes to my mind would be trying from command line(again on clean ultracoinminer download). Move cgwatcher out of the equation. I know its a long shot but it happened to me once.

And just for the sake of testing make it TC = 16384

Let's stick with one rig for the time being.  Post your entire .conf file or the full command line settings you are using to mine with that rig, whichever one you use.

A word of warning to all mintpal traders, DO NOT GET LOCKED OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT! It has been 24 hours and i have sent 7 support tickets, tweeted them and still no reply whatsoever. It seems they have no support in place and who knows how long it will take to get my account unlocked. Just wanted to warn all of you.

i guess i should elaborate. reason i said tc was low cuz 25384 for my 270x, 40992 for my 290. i would assume 280x should fall somewhere in between, rather the higher side of my range. -w 64 command made no difference for me, i don't use -w at all.

I'm still torn on how much of a difference it makes.  When I was busy trying to get rid of my HW errors, a really low -w caused a ton of errors, perhaps because it was processing smaller chunks and the numbers were higher relative to a high -w.  When I finally got rid of all of them (none of the settings posted have worked for me), it didn't matter what -w I put in, they were all gone.

I would tend to agree with your that HW errors do not seem to be caused by an improper -w,  but I'm not sure if it effects it if you already have them.

should we try tweeting coins-e? Big Vern hasnt responded to any tweets ive sent or to any tweets. Does he charge to get listed? Seems odd that other coin are been listed? Bumface said last week he had been in contact with him I think. Was the discussion a good one? Did Big Vern give us a target or list of things to hit/achieve?  I just don't want to be wasting my time trying cryptsy if he has told us we have no chance in the near future. Any info would be valuable to us viral marketers.

mintpal needs F5 evenmore than CT. mintpal is deceiving when high volume trading. mintpal looks like its working fine, refreshing its own ordrs, but F5 reveals true trading. tinkering with aurora coin, and if i hadn't been f5-ing, would have gotten left behind 4x in last 5 minutes. increasing my stack so i can buy utc........

Aurora coin is marketed correctly. premine distributed to iceland, but will not endure unless shops accept auroracoin as payment.

It's 75 dollars a coin.  I don't get it.

The coins that get super high early are a result of massive coin eating early.  Doge and aurora both follow this path.

Whoever has a great deal of skin the game (typically devs), expends massive amounts of BTC to eat cheap coins;  thus raising the price high enough, a ton of miners join.  With doge coins as much as 1000BTC was spent raising the price (and correspondingly Hash rate) to where it can be maintained at a decent price.   Those 1000 BTC have come back to the original pumpers in 10,000BTC amounts along with others who jumped in early.  The longer a coin is out, the more coins that have to (get to) be eaten;  in order to accomplish this.  As such, typically;  "the earlier the better."

There is NO coin EVER that gets super high profit and thus hash and thus support;  without this.   Including BTC
