For example I doubt that exchanges want to anonymize.

Last bugs in darksend+ being dealt with then testing of the new masternode voting system. It's possible. But don't quote me I'd rather see flawless release than any sort of issue personally.

daemon mode(darkcoind) has option, default off(not denominating)

In most cases daemons won't want to run with anonymity (pools, exchanges, etc), 
if a user does they can override the default setting with -enabledaemondarksend=true

Ghostplayer set up a MN for me a few days ago and he is going to help me set up another one tomorrow.   I thought I'd have a try at doing it myself first....GP could always QC my work afterwards.

I thought I was doing great...got the iptables sorted, installed Darkcoind...

Then I totally freaked that Chaeplin's guide is written as if you are setting up a solo node and I panicked at changing any conf files for fear of messing up my running node.  I don't know if you can do it with the same wallet for example or just a new address within the wallet.

Oh well...this is why you hire in professional help

I mean when RC4 is working well with Darksend+, Darkcoin has got a lot of opportunities / ways to go. And its maybe (don't get me wrong I have no complete overview over anon coins and every anon coin says its the best bla bla ..)  the first stable anon coin.

Another thing.. I found it quite funny (no offense, sorry for the dude!) that when the Mintpal thing happened yesterday/day before that the guy choosed Darkcoin to steal in the end. Could the community track them?

After RC4 we continue with IP obfuscation as described in the latest update from July 30th (5 days ago) https://darkcointalk.org/threads/development-update-july-30th.1924/ , most importantly the dev team is focused in completing the testing and bringing Darksend+ to mainnet in the following days.

Thanks man! Appreciate the info. First the fundamental stuff then the features to use (e.g. markets ..) . I like that approach.

Fuck this Mintpal thing with Darksend+ is quite scary if you then know that people around the world can move their money without tracing. Did anyone think about that this maybe do not help the world in long-term? Don't get me wrong I like science and this is a big change, but yeah.. Wars make money.

Latest update on testnet with regards to RC4 (this is just for testing RC4 on testnet !!)
If this update is succesfull and no bugs are found we could be looking at the final update
to DarkSend+ after which Evan said to be concentrating on testing the new MN voting system.

 Yet another pretty large update. I started two fresh wallets with this and denominated 8 rounds with each and haven't been hit once with the collateral bug. Let me know if anyone gets hit, I think I finally got it.

 - Fixed change calc for Denominations in GUI
 - Flare found a logging error for dseep, fixed
 - Collateral now includes a fee (sometimes they took forever to get into a block)
 - Found race condition with new blocks and clearing darksend entries that was causing some collateral fees
 - Found a communication mix up where clients would see messages from the wrong masternode and think it was theirs, also causing collateral fees

The major features of RC4 will be Darksend+ and the lifting of the 10DRK send limit.  A few smaller items will make it in, but things like IP Obfuscation will be after DS+ is fully implemented and working smoothly.

The rumor about RC4 dropping this week is just rumor.  We'll make an announcement when we get closer.

It'll default to no denominating.  You have to choose to do it.
