I dont know if this community realizes this or not but Craig Grant is telling his followers to buy dash now https://youtu.be/zCNRMP97s1M. When he does something all the utubers follow him aka Trevon James Crypto Nick. Don’t underestimate this guy. I miss Amanda Johnson. What a class act.

DASH seems great, sadly i haver never really put an eye on it till now  Roll Eyes This was one stupid decision haha. But think it has still a lot of value in it. In my Opinion the price could easily rise to 5k, with all the informations I read... Will definitely watch it now and buy a bit and take it to my long time portfolio... it seems like a pretty stable choice Smiley

I'm trying to build DASH on Mac and getting "not found for architecture x86_64" error when I run make. I pulled DASH repository from git and ran:

Code:

./autogen.sh
./configure
make

Error:

Code:
Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
  "boost::this_thread::hiden::sleep_for(timespec const&)", referenced from:
      MilliSleep(long long) in libbitcoin_util.a(libbitcoin_util_a-utiltime.o)
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
make[2]: *** [dashd] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

Does anybody know what should I do in order for it to work?
... EDIT: all libs  seems to be in place but still no luck....

It's weird then... Try reinstalling boost from scratch and then building it again (but first cleaning all that mess before making new build)
Code:
brew uninstall --force boost
brew install boost
./configure
make clean
make

EDIT: removed over-quoting

Tried, did not work. It's definitely something wrong with my mac dependencies as I tried to build bitcoin and I'm getting the same error.

Hmm... Check Command line tools, maybe they were misconfigured somehow?
Code:
$ xcode-select --install
xcode-select: error: command line tools are already installed, use "Software Update" to install updates
$ gcc -v
Configured with: --prefix=/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/usr --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/4.2.1
Apple LLVM version 9.0.0 (clang-900.0.38)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin16.7.0
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin
What do you get for these two?

I don't know about 5k but there is nohow bitcoin will be the only dancer  . This will push up the altcoins and dash is well positioned to grow.

Dash can be costly, particularly as more individuals are getting to be plainly mindful of the potential. For instance, running a DASH hub requires 1000 DASH (at current cost of $.664 per DASH, which is $664,000!) .whereas in Cajutel Passive income plan you can contribute the amount you are comfortable in, the best part is the more you invest and the more profit you can make out of it,
Hazard that the coin you back is a crap coin and it bites the dust. Thinking pessimistically: You contribute a couple of $K and lose the part. You cannot lose more than you put in, however there is the thing that speculators call the ‘open door cost’. For instance: You put your $5,000 in a masternode in a system that kicks the bucket, which implies you could not contribute that $5,000 anywhere else. In Cajutel, someone buying a token in the beginning would earn in 6 years 52$. Depending on in which phase he invests, this can be an increase of value of 1.86x up to 5.31x. The interesting is the following years as you can expect dividends far above the 20$ per share every year.
Masternode is going to pay 2 Dash per week, So yearly Investor will get only 104 Dash, whereas in Cajutel if you have invested in phase 1 per Token cost $15 on which cajutel will give a yearly dividend of $52 after the third year which is more than 3 times, But in Dash Masternode they are only paying 1/10 dividend yearly, and in Cajutel you will yearly get a dividend of more than 30% of your Investment.

These are the advantages give Cajutel a sizeable lead over Dash Masternode which is why I feel Cajutel is the Best Passive Investment Plan and will become most successful crypto coin in the future.

The hashing power for DASH exploded this month after bitmain released the ASIC miners for DASH.
Is this the main reason for the price surge?

I wonder when the price will rise in the end. They saw the $ 750 levels. A few more ago it was 150 dollars. The people who got it made a lot of money.

Sorry to hear that, perhaps you might reconsider when Dash starts it’s real climbing next year, instead of gambling in some ico.

I look at the price chart and see that the dash in many respects repeats bitcoin movements. Bitcoin has grown, dash has grown, at bitkoin correction and dasha correction.

Yep, it repeats Bitcoin movements but also at an increased rate (meaning Dash is expanding much faster then Bitcoin did in its early years).
And Dash can go beyond what Bitcoin currently can, Dash does not have to slow down because of high fees, slow confirmation times and a slow decision making proces.
Instead Dash can fully focus on implementing its core task, which is being used as a pure peer-to-peer digital cash system as Satoshi once visioned for Bitcoin.

I think we are witnessing exponential growth here for Dash, exponential growth which started early 2017 and which will continue the coming years. Of course Dash will still be bound to uptrends and downtrends,
pumps and corrections just like any cryptocurrency but for longterm investors this cryptocurrency is getting more and more attractive to look into.

Dont know about $5,000, but DASH is likely to grow and it is definitely a good choice to have some DASH in the portfolio. What makes you think it could "easily" grow to 5k? And in what timespan?

Dash Funds Festy Contactless Payment Wristbands, Global Expansion to Festivals, Pubs

Dash has funded a development and adoption roadmap for contactless payment system Festy.

Festy is a point-of-sale and payments provider using Dash. It leverages contactless wristbands and cards with Dash balances to improve retail payments, in particular festivals which have traditionally had issues from theft or inconvenience from traditional payment methods. Beyond festivals, however, Festy hopes to integrate into a wide network of Irish pubs, as well as many other potential target markets:

I saw some people were discussing why PIVX could be better than DASH. I am not technically literate enough to judge, but I would like to see someone provide a few points to help me understand the situation. Is that just a marketing angle or are there any advantages PIVX has over DASH? Thanks!
