Wuzamarine.  I think everyone's wallet works except yours.  Save your wallet.dat out again on a usb drive and verify that you saved it out and then really delete everything.  Then reboot your machine.  Then download the latest qt file and run it.  Then close it.  Then copy your USB wallet.dat file on top of the new, empty one in the roaming folder.  Then run it again and wait and see if it fully syncs.

If this is bad advice then someone please post because I am far from a bitcoin wallet expert and I make no claims I know what the heck I am talking about.

I even starte darkcoin as admin, creating a full new profile and a new wallet, freezes at the exact same place.

Same freeze, same block, new computer, new OS, new wallet.

Remove everything except the wallet.dat file - open up a new downloaded wallet, worked for me on another x11 coin at least.

Been done no less than 1000 times.

I used a new PC on a brand new OS for crying out loud.

Are  you using the latest RC1 version?  I'm not sure if that's a requirement?

MUST READ

For all new players and old peeps lacking the fundamentals and are clueless of what to make of the current situation.

DRK is the only contender and successor of BTC/LTC.

You shall not look at DRK as any other coin or think it will follow the pattern of other coins history trend. Sure there are people day trading to get profit which will give its influence and sure there are people who already made unbelievable profits and want to cash out some percentage. The truth of the matter is that the people who has been around believed in this coin for the long run and this puny rise that you call a pump is nothing we even consider cashing out on (even if it is hella' tempting).

You call this a pump when it is just a preparation of a pre-prerelease. Consider what will happen when RC2 is out and then when Darksend is live and opensourced. Hail DRK mother of x11.

We also know that the longer we hold the higher the value and as long we keep these mental price range a reality, it will surely get there. In addition, this small sell offs even benefits the future of Darkcoin.

But be wary thinking you can get in cheaper.

The Darksend feature is not "stable" yet which means the bigger money operations is not yet here. What will happen then? Do I really need to spell it out for you?

Before you count your millions, try to remember this doesn't even have an android wallet yet  Wink

It is a matter of time though Smiley

I wouldn't expect this to keep going up, especially if people continue to ignore that bounty list I tried re-posting earlier.  If this thread just becomes another get rich quick scheme like Blackcoin this is just going to crash and burn before anything can come out of it.

Some of the translation bounties are waiting for a final version of the website.  Can't do anything until then.

The icon in the task bar of this screen shot is showing the original 'xcoin' logo, which means that your using an outdated version of Darkcoin ?

Download the latest darkcoin-qt2.exe from here: http://darkcoin.io/beta.php

Hope that helps.

Is there a newer one than what is published here?  http://www.darkcoin.io/
Where is the new wallet at?
I am using the download from the website.
 Huh

The one from the front page of website is old. I posted about that on this thread and on darkcointalk today.

 Huh

I'm sorry, the front page really needs to be cleaned up.  Maybe that's what I can volunteer to do, I'm not good for much more than that ;P

But anyway, the developers have been super busy, and it's just not up to date.  I think you have to use RC1 which you can find here:
http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/rc/darkcoin-qt.exe

link from the pdf link here:
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darksend-rc1-official-release.274/

Also more info at that link Smiley

maybe the android wallet hasn't been made yet because darksend isn't finished?

Well my feeling is that you wouldn't need it for the first version of the phone wallet. I'm interested in Darkcoin but I think the message should be that Darksend is an option, not something that's part of every transaction.

Dang it, I can't log into Cryptsy, there is a warning on the login page that says "A security error has occurred"

Anyone experience this before?

I've experienced the same damn "I'm gunna lose all my coins" paranoia symptoms that your experienceing now.

Cryptsy is as cryptsy does.

I know there have been problems for people all the time with them. You're reading Ape's experience today and panicking.

I have a load to get out there too.

If it's not being able to login, it's not being able to withdraw..... or deposits to hit.... or balances showing incorrectly.

but remember.... cryptsy is as cryptsy does.

I hope Even doesn't think like you. DarkSend should be part of every transaction(in the stable version) not an option! That's the whole point of Darkcoin after all. We don't even need an option to not using DarkSend IMO, at least not GUI one.
