I have servers around the world - is there any possibility to be a masternode without 1000 DRK?
Yes, host other people's masternodes for cheaper than Amazon. Or, pool up peoples' less than 1000 DRK shares to run one MN and figure out a way how people can do it without the fear of them losing their coins. EDIT: and take your cut obv

omg.. dat wallet ! Not sure if anyone noticed, but I'm giving the Darkcoin wallet a major overhaul and implementing a much more clean, modernized design with the help of Minotaur, raze and LittleFinger. Here's a screenshot of a mock-up, demonstrating the general idea of what the new wallet will look like: (NOTE: This is just a mock-up, not the final design!) A lot of major improvements and big things in the works for Darkcoin: the most under-valued crypto-currency on earth! The official thread for the UI overhaul can be seen here at DarkcoinTalk. Yeah I think it is safe to start with some PR at this point as the anonymity design is finalized and we are moving to the code vetting stage. Not a bad time to let people know that the Darksend release is nearing.

Whales pushed the price slowly down to 0.009 I don't know how you arrive at that conclusion. I only see 2 big volume spikes - June 21st when the RC3 fork issues appeared and then a smaller one around July 3rd which pushed it from 14 to around 11/12. Other than that the price has drifted on very low volume. I couldn't remotely describe it as "whale manipulation". Looks more like lots of tiny trades of sub 100 DRK - probably for all kinds of reasons. Remember this: what we know as "price" is only the price of the last trade. We tend to make the mistake of projecting this onto the entire coin supply as if the entire coin supply was being traded at that price (that's what "market cap" is). But you try and buy 80 BTC's worth of DRK just now - that's just over one tenth of 1 percent of the coin supply. You can't have it - it's not available on any market. (Obviously if you put the work out you might get a taker, buy I'm making a philosophical point here). If I decide to sell my mate 1 DRK at a price of 0.005 and that's the "official" last trade, then I've revalued the entire DRK market cap based on just a transaction of that 1 DRK. That's what's going on at the moment - low volume trading which has some significance but very limited relevance to the long term prospects. 98% of DRKs are being held and not traded.

I want a decent spike in price just to hear their screams. A little bit of bullishness and the picture will change very quickly.

Looks more like lots of tiny trades of sub 100 DRK - probably for all kinds of reasons. The whole idea of market manipulation is to make people think that there is no manipulation The truth is that the price is exactly where those market makers want it to be. These are trained pro's, they are actually paid to move the market to maximize profits.
If you wanted to get 80 BTC worth of DRK now you just contact the whales who hold most of the supply and do it via some dark pool. I guess they will give you a discount. Same goes with getting bigger amounts of BTC. If I decide to sell my mate 1 DRK at a price of 0.005 and that's the "official" last trade, then I've revalued the entire DRK market cap based on just a transaction of that 1 DRK. That's what's going on at the moment - low volume trading which has some significance but very limited to the long term prospects. 98% of DRKs are being held and not traded.
If more DRK flooded market the price would plummet, just no demand. Whales need to keep them under lock. And yes, darkcoin liquidity is bad. Now after the bubble deflated it's even worse. If you want to see prices skyrocket again like above 0.02 the only chance for that is to get new markets like btc-e, Huobi/OKcoin. Maybe after it's open-sourced and whales make some good business to promote it

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins! DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool PROP reward system DRK Payouts Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's DDoS Protected High Performance Backend Simple setup and usage 0% Fees while in BETA To mine: How does it work?
xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into DRK and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.
As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better. If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.
The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin. Cheers and Happy Hashing!
Donations welcome!
