Yes - but if you can, verify the checksums against my GPG signature.  I'll update the chain again after the dust settles around the chain bug.

we are still testing the fixes.

thoroughly.

Also awaiting this, v1.2 keeps freezing and only loads 1 week worth of blocks each run... that had take endless hours and x weeks to update to near 755k...

For now, it's recommended to just use 1.2
https://mega.co.nz/#!QUtQlYQA!tS3UVz0xMv7KlYgQeAHZp3W1MVMYKjd7IbR732QEdUk

We may delay the hardfork a little later.

If you don't have an SSD, syncing will be very slow (on windows you may see "not responding", just leave it). Although. Once you get passed block 255k syncing is fast (first natural disaster).

The easiest way is to download the chain as pointed out by domob.

The slow initial syncing will be fixed in a future update - using a number of methods - i.e. huntercore (based on namecore, based on bitcoin core), pruning and lite clients.

-
the Unity Client has now been updated for the Hardfork (will release when it's live).

Would be nice to have a lite client. This coin would already be in the top 50 if there were a wallet that didn't need such a huge download. Any rough timetables?

1.2.01 Windows
https://mega.co.nz/#!QUtQlYQA!tS3UVz0xMv7KlYgQeAHZp3W1MVMYKjd7IbR732QEdUk

Pre 1.3 (1.2) Source - https://github.com/domob1812/huntercoin/tree/before-lifesteal

Domob has fixed the bug a while back - but, an exploit was spotted by Wiggi on the huntercoin forum. so it was a a positive that the hardfork was interrupted (lucky).

This should all be fixed in one of Domob's branches... i'm still testing. https://github.com/domob1812/huntercoin/tree/fix-lifesteal
I suspect we'll roll out 1.3.1 on Monday or so and we'll set a new hardfork block.

@Osya, you never lost those coins - they were refunded for staying in the spawn area for more than 30 blocks. - EDIT: noticed unconfirmed-   is that after resyncing to 1.2?
Are you sure you lost the coins and they are not just in your wallet (never spent them)?

Hardfork block has been set at 1000k for now, but will be lowered later.
The Hardfork is live on testnet as of block 301k.

Although we believe everything is good to go, we are going to give it another couple of days, live on testnet. If everything is fine by the weekend we'll reduce the mainnet hardfork to a block 10-14days in the future.

you will probably need to add these 2 nodes:

192.99.247.234 and 178.62.17.234

to access testnet and addnodes on windows (if using huntercoin-qt):

right click huntercoin-qt.exe and choose create shortcut
right click the new shortcut and choose properties
in Target: after huntercoin-qt.exe add "-testnet -addnode=192.99.247.234"
so it looks like
Code:
c:\somewhere\huntercoin-qt.exe -testnet -addnode=192.99.247.234

If anyone wants any testnet coins send me a pm, or mine some.

The Repo has been updated with the new hardfork  - block 795k

I'm waiting confirmation that the exchanges and mining pool have updated and will then release the binaries.

Good news - I noticed it earlier actually....will I need to re-download a new blockchain - or will a simple --reindex --upgrade-wallet when first launching the daemon suffice?

Thanks.

if you didn't update to the faulty update (1.3), then you will just be able to update. i..e if you are on 1.2 or 1.3.0.99 and all is working, then you should just be able to update to 1.3.1 without re-downloading anything.

I will put the new binaries for 1.3.1 up soon.

For those who can't/won't build themselves wait a little until I have confirmation from the exchanges and f2pool.

Daemon compiled & running on Xubuntu 14.04 without issue. I started it with the extra "--reindex --upgrade-wallet" options initially & it seems to be fine  Smiley

I still see this:

Code:
error: {"code":-2,"message":"Safe mode: WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct!  You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."

...but presume it will go back to normal after the fork? Funds are still in the wallet, so no problems here  Smiley

download new chain. If you went onto the faulty 1.3 there will be some issues no matter what you do.
