Cool, thanks. It's a bummer when people can't use it on the latest version which everyone will be using sooner or later  Wink

14.04 is the Ubuntu version?

Is anyone running the daemon on a different distro? Am I alone?

 Smiley

While it did compile, I'm not so sure that it's working right...

The size of the folder it's in keeps going from 2.0 to 2.1 and I can't seem to send the daemon any commands.  Been like this for a while now...

Oh, this is embarrasing.  My hard drive was at 99% capacity.  Guess that's why.

For the none tech wizards out there,  is there a clear guide on how to start with this and the new forked client to move our existing coins over from the slow wallet?

wallet will still be "slow", domob will start working on performance stuff later

if you trust my upload, you can just

backup your wallet.dat
delete everything from the wallet directory (except huntercoin.conf if you have one)
unzip the contents of the zip into that folder
copy wallet.dat back
run the new client like you did the old one.

Tried to update following these instructions but no luck. I'm getting error when I start huntercoin-qt.exe (Windows 7 x64): http://i62.tinypic.com/fvffh0.jpg

There's db.log and there is debug.log too:

Update: When I run client without wallet.dat it starts syncing and doesn't show any kind of errors.
Update #2: I have resolved my issue by exporting & importing private keys into new wallet.

Ok, so I downloaded the latest chain, got synced, restored wallet. Closed wallet. Later (now) I opened the Mithrilman client..... it has now asked 3 times for the daily 1 HUC, and after a minute the window pops up again.....

I just reopened the regular wallet and it shows 3 single HUC transactions to the address, so clearly they are going, but somehow the client thinks I am expired. Regular wallet fine so far....
