I have this problem too. 2-10 times per day proxy down. But the Internet I have a very stable.

May be proxy restarts and resets the load  Huh

I'm looking into it but it is very hard to replicate. Do you have static or variable ip address?

FYI

Today we've added worker and user hashrate charts. To access them just click on links available in tables coins or workers on "My account" page.

This morning we have added new functionality
You can now add up to 30 new workers at once. They will be created using pattern you specified.
This should make life easier for bigger miners.

proxy eth down?

Datacenter had some network issues but they seem to manage that and now everything is ok.

Suprnova low-diff pool no proxy mining I was getting lowest hash around 25MH/s and high up to 31MH/s on low diff mining pool.  I tried Coinotron using proxy mining and my hash rate goes down to low of 20MH/s and only went to high of 29.8MH/s for a very short amount of time than dropped. So my actual earnings look like they will be much lower.  Is it because Coinotron has no low diff so not good for single 280x GPU? Or am I using wrong payout as I left it to the default.

Default payout is PPLNS. It depends on pool's luck. You probably mined on one of bad periods. If you choose RBPPS your payouts will be much more stable. Of course PPS disadvantage is higher fee.
Regarding hashrate and low/high difficulty - it affects only variance of hashrate estimations. Average values are the same.

Finally figured it out the help is really bad on your site.  It did not indicate there has to be 2 different batch files.  Second problem the proxy stopped mining with json error even after restarting.  Proxy mining is too unstable I lost a full day at least while I was at work of any hashing.  Losing coins so went back to Suprnova that does not require proxy.  Proxy is definitely not worth it with it being unstable.

I am trying to mine on coinotron been mining on suprnova but others said yours is a good pool.. The problem is that I have no hash showing at all it is like my worker is not being detected.  Shows 0 hashing.

Batch file
Code:
mining_proxy.exe -o coinotron.com -p 3344
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/<worker.name1>:<password>
--opencl-device 0,1 --cl-global-work 16384

I see lines like above but no indication that I am hashing anything on your pool.. What am I doing wrong?

I have 2 R9 280X hashing so usually average about 47MH/s.

The other question I have is which payout is best to use?  PPS, RBPPS, or PPLNS for a smaller miner like this?

FYI

We temporarily disabled FTC pool. This morning poll's wallet stopped accepting new blocks.

We are investigating this issue.

Update:

We contacted Peter Bushnell. It seems to be fork in FTC network. Different clients are on different blockchains.

Maybe your dag file is not up to date ?

Regarding PPLNS vs RBPPS. In along run PPLNS is cheaper. In short period of time PPLNS payouts have quite a lot of variance, while RBPPS are stable.

What will be the result of this? (Will/when will mining come back online?)

We were trying to use wallet 9.5 but there were still issues. Right now we are reindexing db and simultaneously waiting for FTC developers solution.
FTC pool mining and payouts are suspended. Our wallet just won't synchronize with main blockchain.
