All my Stratum workers stopped mining at 11:03EST. Mergedmining server is also having problems. Any ideas?

Only miners pointed to "btcguild.com:8332" continued working.

PPLNS still working great so far, but one bug is currently present.  The "24 Hour Earnings" statistic currently assumes you are running PPS.  So if you're running PPLNS, this statistic still shows up, but it is giving you the value as if you had been on PPS.  Trying to figure out a way to fix this statistic without breaking it at this time.

After that, I'll begin adding some PPLNS statistics to the API calls.

It would cool if you could put the PPLNS stats where the Namecoin stuff is taking up real estate. Maybe move NMC off to it's own section for those that still need it.

Thanks again and great work on the pool.  Cool

+1     i have toggled half my rigs pplns.. Roll Eyes   keep  up doing the good work.. Wink

Only miners pointed to "btcguild.com:8332" continued working.

The servers in Germany and Dallas are both being heavily affected by a DDoS.  The server in Chicago seem to be handling it much better.  Chicago does have Stratum by the way.  If your miner natively supports stratum, pointing it at btcguild.com:8332 will redirect to Stratum..

PPLNS only works for Stratum.

The 24 hour earnings stat will be back in approximately 24 hours.  I had to do a reset to the speed history on workers, since the way the 24 Hour Earnings/Worker Speed charts are generated use the same data table.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hopefully later today will also see a update to the 'My Account' page.  I'll be moving most of the static information (Email, API, Wallets) to a Settings Page, and enabling toggles for NMC rewards/PPLNS rewards.

Looks like one of the hard drives is dead/dying on the server that houses the website.  Working on migrating the web server ASAP.  One mining server was also housed on that physical box.  All DNS entries have been moved from that mining server, so miners should be redirected shortly.

thanks!

and for those who may not know with windows machines you will want to flush your dns cache.

"ipconfig /flushdns"

linux/unix are not effected as far as I know they don't cache DNS.

MacOS - unkown.

First "big" change to the website layout in quite some time.

My Account has now been split into two pages.  Account Summary, which replaces the previous My Account page, will show you a summary of your earnings and your worker statistics.  This is the page you can request manual payouts from, and is effectively the only page most users will bother looking at regularly.

The information that used to be at the top of 'My Account' has been moved to Account Settings.  This is the page where you can change your wallets, auto payout settings, email address, etc.

There are also two new options:  PPLNS Display and NMC Display, which allow you to hide/show these stats on your Account Summary.  If PPLNS is displayed, you will get the Side-by-Side Bitcoin Rewards Summary, where the left is an overall account summary, and the right is PPLNS specific details.  If PPLNS is disabled but NMC is enabled, you will see the old layout where BTC and NMC are side-by-side.  If PPLNS and NMC are enabled, it will be separated into a Bitcoin and Namecoin section.

The 24 hour earnings statistic will be back tomorrow.  I had to reset a few things on the database to make it calculate properly between PPS/PPLNS.  Additionally, judging PPLNS off a 1-day trial would not be advised.  PPLNS is subject to pool variance.  In a 24 hour period, that can be a significant difference from PPS, either above or below.  It can even vary above/below PPS over the course of a week, or a month, depending on luck.  Over a long enough period of time, the variance narrows down, and eventually you reach the point where you're almost guaranteed to have made more on PPLNS.

DE server is still down, all the DNS entries were moved to Chicago.  At this time I don't think it will be back for another week or two.  The host is not being helpful at all so far.

How goes the attack. I am still noticing stratum and getwork miners having connection issues from time to time.

Chicago is still running smooth (generic btcguild.com / mine1-3).  I just made a small fix to the Dallas server, it looks like it was having some filters triggering from too many active connections (probably due to changing a lot of DNS as the result of the attack).  Hopefully Dallas will behave normally going forward.

Still not sure how long until I can get a new EU server up.  I'm still waiting on Hetzner to let me back into the servers they blackholed.

Uh, where's the PPS stats now?

Same place they've always been?  If you're referring to 24 hour earnings, that will be back on 12/6 once the new system has had a full 24 hours of history built up.  Everything else is still there on Account Summary, considering the only PPS stats on that page previously were Paid Out/Unpaid amounts.  The full history is still visible under PPS Earnings History.
