I'm using some Android phone, 400 x 800 pixels, to check pool status. Pls, if possible, take in account mobile browsers.. As it is, is great for mobile.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Thank you for that feedback, I will certainly keep mobile users in mind when working on the redesign, even if it means creating a special version just for mobile.  I'm playing around with the templates right now, so I may actually have a mock-up available later tonight for comments and suggestions.

I like the current interface just fine.

Clean, minimal, works on mobiles.

It ain't broke so don't fix it.   Cheesy

Certainly a reasonable response.  I'm sure whatever I do will remain clean/minimal, programmers tend not to be very artistic Smiley .  But that doesn't mean it can't look a little more inviting/colorful.

EDIT: Template is starting to take shape at: http://www.btcguild.com/new_ui/index.php?page=dashboard

the website is fine...except lately it keeps wanting to open new windows instead of opening in the same tab when navigating between pages within the site, but that might be my box.

Don't get hung up on style over function, it works great

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.

No worries, if I'm not seeing near-unanimous appreciation of the new interface there will absolutely be an https://www.btcguild.com/classic/ Smiley

New page is up previewing the Earnings/Payouts displays:  https://www.btcguild.com/new_ui/index.php?page=payments  Sortable/filterable tables, still very clean format.  Some browsers aren't sending their cookies to the /new_ui/ directory, so it will show my account history if you're not logged in.

The more time I spend on it, the more I think this could get unanimous approval (once completed).  By ditching the sidebar, the site has a bit of extra width to work with while still maintaining a small footprint.  The colors are easier on the eyes (no harsh white background) too.  The main section icons also make it easier to use on a mobile device (large square link vs thin line text links).

A few new updates to the demo of the new layout design:

Dashboard: Splits worker summary into two sections with sortable/filterable data tables, one for Active Workers, one for Idle Workers.

Payments: Sortable/filterable tables for BTC earnings (PPS) and Payouts (all).  Some other data will eventually flow onto this page such as carry-forward balances (Unpaid Proportional/Stratum Beta), and PPLNS earnings will also receive a special table.

Rankings: Hall of Fame is mostly unchanged from current design, other than looking nicer and having trophy icons for the Top 3.

Workers, Server Status, Support, Account, and Messages are not yet implemented.

Since the new interface is read-only at the moment, it will automatically load my account details if your browser does not send cookies to the /new_ui/ directory.  I'm paying a lot of attention to this new redesign to keep everything feeling familiar, hopefully there won't be a need for a /classic/ version by the time it's done Smiley.

As usual, please provide your feedback!  I hate the idea of rolling out a new interface sight unseen.  I am a programmer, not a designer, so your input can help me a lot in increasing usability.

Yes, the demo of the new template is not complete yet.  Expecting more to be done tomorrow and Sunday.  Possible deployment on Monday Smiley.  Currently working on all the pure informational pages, and Sunday will begin dealing with modifications and additions to user data.

Back from a secret vacation, almost a whole day and I only checked my phone a couple dozen times!

New layout is looking like it will be ready Tuesday of this week.  Going to be working hard tomorrow to get the missing pieces added and work on new Support/Help sections for miners Monday.

One note to Stratum users:  If you are currently mining on 50.31.149.57 (this used to be the redirect URL if you connected to btcguild.com:8332), please change your miner over to stratum.btcguild.com:3333 .  The 50.31.149.57 server will be turned off once the active connection count drops under 50, or by February 28th, whichever happens first.
This seems important enough that it should appear at the top of the web page(s) as an announcement.

I'm frequently checking my status.

I rarely read this thread. (And that announcement is now buried several pages back.)

My stratum proxy is now pointed as per your above request.

--

Regarding the "new_ui". Nice enough.

However, I don't see "Performance Charts", yet. (I assume they will be coming.)

I look at those. Often. Would hate if they were left out of the new design.
