Most miners are still using the default vote of 512, if they were voting higher we would see much higher block rewards.
HVC not a lost cause at all, its just getting started. This coin is a GPU miners dream, It is the best contender when scrypt-asic take over scrypt.
It's voting feature is one-of-a-kind and as such people need to be informed about its purpose. Even if we cant get people to change their vote before the end of the mint phase, they will have to actually change their vote for the limit phase. This coin will get extremely interesting at that point. But I don't see any reason the community can't get miners to pay more attention to the votes.
i thing deffault should be 1 ..not 512. i agree, so lets make some noise and get people to vote!!

Any idea when HVC price stops dropping, maybe when BTC recovers? Gpools, are you still holding like a boss? :-) Cause once you start dumping we'll be all doomed.
he cannot dump there's not enough liquidity on any exchange even for a third of his holdings, he's a bagholder. when trading never get yourself in a situation with no way out. btc is about to drop another 30% next week (china ban on 15th, coinciding with ema death cross on weekly charts). could be even 50% over next two months So is it already more or less certain that BTC will be banned in China?

So is it already more or less certain that BTC will be banned in China on 15th? pboc (chinese central bank) is closing a loophole exchanges have been exploiting for a few months. chinese have been desperately trying to pump the whole last week in preparation for dumps (to fill the orderbooks) So if I plan to buy BTC in next days, I rather wait for 15th to see what happens, right? I though that 330EUR/BTC is good price although I bought some Satoshis also for 315EUR last week.

Hi SimkoMiner
I think I could update you with what is happening in China.
Chinese gov is not going to ban bitcoin, for sure. Chinese gov had already claimed their attitude, people can trade bitcoin as they will, but gov will not give any support.
The only action taken by now is to forbid 3rd online finance service company supporting cryptocoins trading website for cash deposit or withdraw. Of cause, all Chinese website have their own way to work this around.
This time, a rumor says on 4/15, Chinese gov is going to close all websites' banking accounts from all banks in China. Chinese people are now arguing for the truth of this rumor, many take this as ban of Bitcoin.
That's the exact situation in China now.

Efficiency is something all businesses strive for. It doesn't matter if you operate a massive gpu farm or just one card. Less money paid to the power bill puts more money in your pocket. This is just good business. Who doesn't like bigger profit margins.
Lets not forget this algo runs cool, my cards hash away at 41°c
So, I think the business savvy miners will see the gains this coin could provide and will vote low. Your gpu's want you to vote 1.
HVC is a diamond in the rough. Some can see that now and others won't realize it until later.

If break EMA 50 i think find support 78.6 at 283
