I did not expect that Slovakia will beat Poland, they look weak on paper but played really well yesterday.

Never underestimate the underdogs full of young stars full of hope in any competition and besides the Poland team depends more on their star man Lewa, if he under perform the team suffers while the young Slovakia team is a team based solely on team work.

Regarding Spain - I don't like their team for a while, they put too much focus into controlling the game and then lack the execution.

Spain does not have a proper striker, the last one they had was Diago Costa since they stopped inviting him they've been having trouble scoring goals, it would affect them in this competition, they need a sharp finisher.

Even when I look at the Spanish players even though they are playing at home, I'm not sure with the squad Spain will go further. With this 0-0 draw I feel it is the right result for them so yes, although previously I predicted Spain to win but I am not disappointed with this result because the young squad being played will not guarantee Spain to win easily either.

Especially in the first half Spain was very dominant and would have definitely deserved to score a goal there. The second half was pretty boring then to be honest except for the last 10 minutes maybe plus overtime where Spain had some great chances again but the swedish goalkeeper managed to save that header from moreno. Overall Swedens defense was doing very well yesterday and the goalkeeper also managed to make some hard and very important saves and on top of that sweden was also pretty lucky to not have received a goal. Sweden had also 2 good chances and even hit the post but in the end Spain was very unlucky yesterday.

But in reality, if not for some biased officials they would have lost the match by 0-3. It is difficult to believe that this team stands a chance against France. I would be making a bet in favor of France today. Germany is in pathetic form recently, and I won't be surprised even if they fail to qualify for the knockout stage of EURO 2020.

I am surprised by the results in yesterday's E-group games. Spain had a big advantage in possession of the ball, but once they had created a situation for themselves, the effectiveness was failing. The Swedes played wisely, to the best of their skills and tried to counter their opponents.

France IMO would be favourites after England to take the title. They have a star studded side
and Germany struggled with some of their Qualifier group stage matches but to coin
a phrase "you can never write off the Germans" but France for me today.

Yea Germany beat Latvia 7-1, but only drew with Denmark and were beaten 2-1 by North Macedonia
in the Qualifiers, not convincing.

Portugal indeed are on a different level to Hungary, While I dont particularly like the
Portuguese team, Ronaldo remains a threat even while having a quiet game.

Didn't watch the match but saw highlights and now I'm not sure if supporting Spain is a good idea. They're not playing very well and tiki taka is not so nice or fluid. If you look at the odds then it is pretty obvious that, at least for the bookmakers, the match is completely open as the odds for a win of france or germany are almost identical. Yes of course Mbappe is extremely dangerous to any defense in the world as he is so extremely fast but i don't think that the old and slow man giroud will be a big problem i guess that france will start with griezmann instead of giroud. If you compare the rest of the players, I don't think the German Team is worse. I mean in the central midfield they can choose from kroos, gündogan, goretzka and kimmich. There is not much more potential for improvement in terms of player quality.

Germany is a very good team, but I think France looks stronger now. It is clear that the winner of today's match will leave the group, the loser will fight for the exit from the group with Portugal. Swedish defense is top class. I have noticed this even in the previous tournaments. However, their attack looks out of order, in the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimović. Everyone was claiming that Alexander Isak would be able to fill the vacuum, but it never happened. That said, I don't know what really happened to Spain. The way they played was shocking. Wasted too many opportunities. Although it is a young squad, I expected them to get three points from yesterday's match and they settled for just 1.

Anyway, you have to consider that it was Latvia they were playing with and I assume it was a club friendly?  France would the same vs Latvia with the squad they got.  And from what I’ve been reading as of late Germany is in a somewhat squad rebuild phase atm.  Dunno...  I’m actually surprised to see Muller and Kroos back still in there.  I think France has the slight edge.
