Portugal was expected to win this game, I had already commented that in this group Portugal and Franca are the only favorites, Portugal's next game will be against germany, it will be a decisive game for portugal because if they lose against germany they are in a terrible situation

France 1 - 0 Germany

it was also expected that the france would win this game despite germany not being an easy opponent to deal with.

Benzema got his goal disallowed due to offside as well. It could have been worse for Germany

Germany had more ball possesion but that was mostly in areas that were not really dangerous to france.

I'd say Germany control the flow of the game especially in the midfield aread but France was solid in defending so almost nothing gets past through it. Obviously this is the case when you have Kante on your team, we have seen how good this guy is in Chelsea defending the midfield line . On top of that there is also Pogba and Rabiot in the midfield so yeah , its going to be a pretty solid line

it was one of beste matches of the tournament..
France represents football perfection in the current Euro, they have the beste defensive solidity ,the best midfield. And a very good offensive mouvements,
Pogba and Mbappe were very critical players for France
Germany appeared well, but its offensive problems are very clear and need a different recipe than what we saw today they wanted to play in depth but they didn't find a lot of spaces uncovered by their opponents defense.

I don't know which team is the more unlucky one, either France who had 2 very beautifully worked goals (Goal by: Kylan Mbappe and Karim Benzema) disallowed due to offside or Germany who had all the game at there grasped but were very much unable to find the net.

I have to give it to the France team anyway, they did put in all the effort to ensure that they defend there 1 goal which was an own goal advantage from the early minutes of the first half to the final whistle. Despite several substitution from the German side, they couldn't affect the result much while France had only 1 substitution which was with Benzema for Dembele. Now thats what a team with a formation set to win looks like. You set them in place and watch them deliver the game.

If we look at ball possession, of course Germany is superior to France in tonight's match, and the game tactics carried out by the German team really succeeded in shutting down the flow of the ball between French players and even France only had 4 kicks with only 1 shot on target towards the German goal,  in my opinion tonight France played more reactive in the game, even though in the previous few matches France was more aggressive in facing other teams, but in tonight's match even France did not press tight when they lost the ball, but whatever strategy used by France tonight was very successful in suppressing the hard game from Germany, I'm sure that tonight Mats Hummels is sad about his own goal and this is not Mats Hummel fault because he did his best to throw the ball away but unfortunately the ball went into the net own goal.

I was hoping to see a surprise in the portugal match.Was expecting Hungary to do something but a 3 fast goals in the end for Portugal gaved them already the next round probobly with this goal diffrence.France could have won by even more if those goals werent cancelled

Portugal was in a big advantage and they were really favorite because they were the strong 9nes and yet they struggled to score until the last minutes despite the score it was a difficult game but an expected win indeed their next game against germany will be a difficult one and it will show if they are a strong title condidate.

Germany was not the same since the last Euro I think it was a reasonable match results between them two France deserved the 3 points and . Frankly, Pogba made a great match, especially in his distinguished passes behind the German defenses and down the sides, and he was one of the reasons for the only goal in the match.
On the other hand, the Germans started well, but they paid a great price because of the spaces behind their backs, with no explicit striker or even a front crew capable of creating and scoring opportunities.
France's transformations were excellent, Pogba's passes, Kante's strength, Griezmann, Mbappe and Benzema's breakthroughs, so the superiority was strongly present.

On the other hand, Finland had an upset win over Denmark in their first match. If they manage a win today, then they will advance to the playoffs and things will get very difficult for Denmark (they need to beat Belgium). As of now, it looks like Russia will end up at the bottom of Group B.

Belgium coach roberto martinez's main goal is to bring the country its first international title. The unbeaten record against Russia in the last seven matches also adds to the confidence  russian coach stanislas cherchesov's primary goal is to finish second in the group and reach the knock-out stage after that to prepare for the next fight. Russia coach stanislas cherchesov is relying on his team for good results but belgium will go further.

Finland won the first match. Which was very unexpected. I did not think Denmark would be defeated. If Eriksen's case had not happened, perhaps Denmark would have won. Portugal's victory I think is quite surprising because I only predict maybe Portugal will only win with a gap of 1 or 2 goals, but Ronaldo made it win by 3-0 and it was a big win I think and a good capital to maintain his position at the top. Because in group F this is a hell group, so winning big is a very good capital because if later there are calculations of goal difference, winning big is a target that must be achieved as well.

France while being able to contain Germany defensively they were able to break
through Germany a number of times to create some great scoring chances obviously
leading to two disallowed goals.

The trio up front for France Mbappe, Benzema, Giezmann were very effective at breaking
through the germans.

Germany was really predictable yesterday and this was why they lost the game.They try to play only on the right wing with Kimich and France already knew that every ball will played that way so they used two people against Kimich and didn't let Germany do more.The left wing was almost non existent in the field and also Germany relied heavily on their goalkeeper which we all know is good but the goalkeeper can't save you forever.Anyway congratulations to France as they are one of the strongest contenders to the title.

Group B: Finland vs Russia
I see this game end in a draw. Russia is not in a good moment.


Group A: Turkey vs Wales
Turkey is expected to win. Wales is unlikely to have enough arguments to win.


Group A: Italy vs Switzerland
I believe it will be another easy game for Italy. It remains to be seen how many goals he will win.

I think Belgium will win its game against Denmark. I think that the shock of the Danes in the first match will lead to their elimination either already in the group stage or shortly after.
In the game Russia vs. Finland, I see Russia clearly better. They lost heavily against Belgium, but they still played better than Finland against Denmark. Finland was until the event with Eriksen, clearly dominant and would certainly have won the game. After the restart, Finland had taken advantage of the state of the Danes and won the game narrowly. Playfully, however, the Finns have not convinced me.

Finland vs Russia is unpredictable and it is the most important match today. If somehow Finland can manage a win, that means that Denmark doesn't qualify to the knockout phase (unless they can beat Belgium, which is near impossible). Regrading the other two matches, they don't have much significance. If Wales win today, then they have a chance of advancing to the next stage. Turkey's chances are very slim after their heavy defeat in the first match. Italy already has 3 points, so they are in a very comfortable position.
