My expectation from the Chelsea - Real Madrid draw is that Real Madrid can move Chelsea out of this tournament this time. They had a bad experience against Chelsea last season. I don't think that the history will repeat itself here. We are all seeing a much stronger Real Madrid in this season until this point. We all saw how they destroyed PSG despite being in a bad situation first. And I don't see the same Chelsea in this season. I don't feel like they can eliminate Real Madrid once again by this level of performance.

I would like to see how Real Madrid would have destroyed Paris Saint-Germain if it hadn't been for Donnarumma's dude trick and the subsequent collapse of the entire game of the club from Paris Also, a lot will depend on whether Benzema will participate in the match, because Real Madrid with Benzema and Real Madrid without Benzema are two big differences and the current El Classico showed all this with great clarity. Chelsea performances show that they can still eliminate real Madrid from this tournament because they did it last season, and they will still do it again in this season. Since Chelsea players are fully prepared to defeat real Madrid team which is among the strong team in this tournament that can challenge Chelsea. PSG players missed a lot of opportunities in their last match that gave real Madrid opportunity to achive victory at th end of the match. Chelsea team is different from other teams, in terms of using different strategies to achieve victory which Chelsea coach is capable for in this season and he is willing to introduce more strategies that will give them victory at the end of the tournament.

Chelsea have cemented themselves as one of the biggest club in the world not just because of their successes in recent years but due to how they have been able to be consistent in the face of adversity. Not too many club can face these sanctions and disruption in club's hierarchy and still perform this good. This mentality alone should make Madrid worried. I will bet Chelsea to qualify ahead of them because this team has been more consistent and strong mentally.

No doubt Chelsea is now one off the best clubs in world, but they are currently at third spot in Premier League, and it all happened just because of their unpredictable results, so they are improving but now going to face another best club around the globe which is having amazing results under manager Ancelotti in this season and in last round as they defeat PSG it's surely their best part of this season so here we are going to face two clubs with equal in performance and skilled players so on his day any team can win and go through into semifinal which is next destination for these all teams.

For me, Real Madrid is having better chance for qualifying with their last results they are really high in confidence and their most players are improving very good after this win against giants of French Soccer.

When Chelsea started this season they started as Europa Champions, their poor performance was as a result of the absence of their players due to injuries, in the last two months many of their players are returning and their side have gotten stronger.

Actually, I would have believed that Chelsea would win, but unfortunately political factors also play an important role at the moment. I find it sad that a traditional club like Chelsea is currently being put under so much pressure. It's not fair to the fans. I wish Chelsea could defend their title but can they do it?

I agree with you that what is happening to Chelsea in terms of politics is something very unfair, not only to Chelsea fans, but to all Football fans. Political issues should not be included in the sport of football.

With Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and others, we all agree that PSG is a strong team. But the fact is that a strong team with many star players may
not necessarily win, because what's interesting about football is that it takes solid cooperation between players in order to win. This has not been
owned by PSG so far, Pochettino in my opinion failed to make the star players at PSG able to work well together. So it's not surprising that PSG

Maybe a bit different for Chelsea. In the past, they played enjoy without the pressure because they haven't the trophy, but now they have the burden as defending champion, I'm not sure they play loose even as host on 7th April. Real Madrid looks on fire and Benzema's performance is still very good, but Ancelotti sometimes is playing too defensive where is the possible draw or loss with 1 different goal.

I wouldn't consider real madrid to be weak team because of their performance against Barcelona in laliga,  sometimes are like that   you can just always expect good performance from a team.  Time like this when a team performance is so low it encourages the team to do better to perform well.

We should appreciate Thomas Tuchel for giving encouragement to Chelsea players in the midst of the sanctions they have received in football this season, even though Real Madrid are currently on fire in the European arena but they are still at the top of the La Liga standings even though this morning they were defeated by rivals Barcelona 0-4 in El Clasico, but the meeting between the two is very interesting for us to look forward to in the Champions League quarter-finals in April

Chelsea has a better chance in the champion league but because of the many sanctions facing the club owner and the club because of their Russian involvement it weak the club morale in the premier league that being said Chelsea stands a better chance to take home the trophy.

I already have my favourites for the semi-finals after seeing the draws for the quarter-finals. I think that Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are very likely to reach next round. Benfica did a huge job by eliminating Ajax but I'm afraid this is the end of the road. And Manchester City wouldn't make a big mistake against Atletico Madrid too. Atletico Madrid have reached this round because of Manchester United's bad look. Chelsea - Real Madrid is a really tough matchup but I believe Real Madrid are better now. And Bayern Munich would finish Villarreal off as well.

Bayern Munich have the easiest opponent especially considering the squad available for the German giants as well as their position in the table. That's where I have conflicting ideas about city v athletico. City won't underestimate athletico however I feel they may be surprised at how well they work as a unit. Clearly shown against United. But then again, man City are a different class comapared to Manchester United and will no doubt be passing it in the final third making many chances which no doubt they have the talent to take. The issue for pep will be with 9 games left in the premier league, he may win them both, or he could lose them both. Liverpool will make quick work there attack is too strong. With all the Russian drama at the moment Chelsea will have something to fight for and will put up a fight. But I feel that come the second leg, real will adapt and win the tie. Looking forward to it

But you have a good point there too as this big incident about Abramovich can motivate Chelsea to eliminate their competitors one by one too. But this time won't be that easy for Chelsea. In the last season of the Champions League, Real Madrid were playing really desperately against them. And their general look also wasn't that good. But now, there is a completely new Real Madrid.

Yes betting on the underdog with juicy odds is definitely part of the wish for an upset. It's also called an upset or surprise for the very reason that it won't be easy. A "David vs Goliath" match is a good story to tell and sell to fans.

You seem not to understand my point because I was not betting on the underdog, I was betting against them and I don't want them to surprise me either. Thats the reason why I told the previous user that it's not everybody that wants any form of surprise party from the underdog and sure most gamblers that bet on the game also want the same thing.

They had same experience but couldn't win over Barcelona.
Repeating the same thing for Chelsea will be very embarrassing as they will be knocked out once more by the same team in two years.
Despite all the happenings, Chelsea are a very focused team and still hitting the hammer on the nail.
